    Scouting, reviewing, surveying, studying, scanning, inspecting, checking, probing, investigating, analyzing, examining, exploring. If this guy was advertising a product, I would be suspicious. He used all the emotive language to convince me to stop what I am doing when he started saying that I need to have a conversation with my avocado plant, scouting he called it. I reminded to the beginning, watched the whole video in a mutated mindset. Thanks. You are setting Africa to know it's place in sustain the West this time not thru slavery but from knowledge while creating a new outlook for itself. You Rock. I look forward to the practical videos such as getting already requested,, looking at the solid f scouting etcetera.

    Thank you for your presentation. I have a problem with the issue of spacing, may be in Uganda, however we do not use 5x5 spacing. Our trees grow very fast and within five year they are already fully grown. So, we rather apply 8x8 and sometime 8x10. This does very good. For the first three years you can intercrop with something like maize, groundnuts etc.

    • @nilecado
      @nilecado  Před rokem

      Uganda. You are right by the 8th or 9th year you will need to do deep thinning if you did 5by 5. so 7by7 is ideal. your 8 by 8 can also be applied

    Regenerative agricultural practices could improve soil quality, water retention, soil aggregation, and the soil biome to benefit the Haas Avocado grower’s profits. Also, one may consider trellising the trees as New Zealanders do with apples and pears to maximize light availability and increase yield per hectare.
    Best Practiced include the use of biochar, mycorrhizal fungi, and good soil microbial healthy, as well as maximized sunlight absorption.

      Taken your advice on trellising. Watched a video on it I oNgv channel done 7 years ago - "Building strong apple orchad trellises. Also, The New tall spindle apple orchad system. Trying down young trees. It's about apples but sound like the labour done to satisfy the apple tree can be applied to Hass avocado plants with a 30% more fruits. Labour that pays well. All the best everyone.
