These super 8 shots were shot using a Canon 814 and Minolta 301XL cameras. Each example were not altered in post -production and shown as they were shot and scanned in. They were scanned in at 1920 x 1080 high definition, at 23.98PSF in a 4|3 ratio, Pro RES 422. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Film will never die! It has a warmth digital won't ever have... but they both have a place.
glad to see this. I wish film will never die. It is always a high end art in the world.
Probably will unless they find a replacement for the plastic.

When i started waching this i was like oh wow old footage, then realized this is pretty new footage in fact! When he scanned those black bins wiith a wirelss scan gun, my mind glitched for a second! haha

Like wearing Converse All-stars, shooting on film is very retro and trendy, but it's also very impractical and uncomfortable. Was David Fincher the last Hollywood director to shoot on film (Fight Club)? Video killed motion picture film around 2005. Maybe a few dilitants will shoot a roll or two, but just because its trendy. I still remember b-ball players wearing Converse All-stars on televison, but you would never see a player wearing them on the court today. Some still wear All-stars today (myself included), but only for the retro look.
