Rabbi Yaron Reuven explains that it is a mistake to get angry when bad things happen because everything, even loss, comes from HaShem. It is heresy to think that our actions determine the outcome of events. Instead, HaShem has already decided our parnasa (livelihood) and success.
We should focus on serving HaShem to the best of our ability under our current circumstances, even if those circumstances are difficult. We should also pray for change, but ultimately accept that the outcome is in HaShem's hands. Our responsibility is to make the effort and trust that HaShem is ultimately good and merciful. By focusing on HaShem and our relationship with Him, we can find contentment and happiness, even amidst challenges.
