I wish they put out some troubleshooting videos for this product...also, the printed directions look like hieroglyphics.

Agreed, RockyMounts try to explain with a video and that's at least something, but written instructions are even more critical. If they skip a step in the video or don't cover a step in enough detail in the video then the assembler is stuck. A rack like this is unique, with odd assemblages and strange ways of doing things and if a person is completely unfamiliar with this brand and has no access to a local bike store, then it's a challenge. So far I figured it all out except for the rear wheel strap and will have to call their Technical Support; what was in the box isn't the same as in the video here.

I actually enjoyed watching this with the nice background scenery. The music was at a low level and not too distracting. I really wish you had opened the rear doors on your van at some point to show that they actually clear. I have a 2015 Transit 150. Also, is the 8" hitch extension absolutely necessary for my van carrying a comfort style ebike? Thanks!

Is it possible to detach the rack by removing the "2nd hitch lock" in order to remove to go through a car wash? I am 5'2" 105 lbs. This rack weighs 60 lbs. and is a large diameter so it would be helpful not to have to remove the rack from the base hitch locking location.

Can I only install one tray? If I just install the tray farthest from the hitch, I may not need a hitch extender (I do have a flat back cargo van). Thanks!

This rack definitely damaged every fork I’ve put on it. The “soft coating” is a lie it acts like sand paper and strips paint off the fork crowns.

Left out a key instruction. There are 4 bolts to use for the wheel cups and only 2 have washers. The ones with washers are supposed to go on the rear cups on the strap side. I had already put them on and had to redo it with washers.

The instructions that come with this wrack have the worst assemblage instructions I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across. I have a better chance of turning this into a refrigerator than I do a bike rack.

The written directions were pretty sketchy for me, given I'm not a great tool guy. I'd prefer a step by step " guide for idiots".
The video helped, but, too, more details, less trail riding would be fine. It was, though, the best of all i searched.
So, between the video and what i could glean from the skimpy directions, it's on.
And, if i can do it, anyone can.
    Thanks.

Terrible video and incomplete in the bsteps. Do not try to understand assembly using this video. The written instruction are little better. Bad work folks.
