It is such a fantastic game! I recently got to teach it to some new friends for the first time in a while and it reminded me just how great this game is! ⛪ And there's nothing wrong with that! No rush to try the solo mode for games, especially if you're enjoying playing with other people! My wife and I love this game. We only have the app so we pass the phone back and forth. The hardest thing for both of us is to follow the scoring rules. Even though it's OK to put the same color or number in a row or column, we can't stop feeling wrong about it. We have too much sudoku on our mind. Also wanted to say I'm glad to have found your channel. Your chill and positive vibe feels so fresh compared to many other gaming channels.

My reading and writing are almost non-existent, even though I took Japanese classes for many years. My professors in Japan actually gave up on my learning kanji and said it's just not for me. My wife is Japanese (half-Okinawan) and we run an online English school for adults where we focus on teaching critical thinking through English. We also play a lot on BGA with our students. We just moved from Las Vegas to Okinawa last year. Let me know if you need any help getting any Japanese game releases or if you visit Japan. We'd love to play some games together!

Sagrada is such a great game! And a perfect game for couples! ⛪ I've actually been getting back into Castles of Burgundy on BGA lately! Such a brilliant game and a really good suggestion for a future Solo Play Sunday! 🏰 (As are all of the other three!) That'd be fun to have Hannah join for a two-player playthrough sometime, too! What would we call that, though? Two-Player Tuesday? 🤔
Agreed this solo variant of Sagrada is less appealing. Much so because you often have a contradiction in goals on top of having a brutal opponent points wise, especially with low point goals. Damned if you do, damned if you don't if the "1+2" combo gives you 2p handling fives and sixes away for a sure loss. There is though a wonderful Daily Challenge in the app version (at least on IOS). For 24 hours every day, people around the globe get five attempts on the same board and with the same goals. Here you only want the best score possible and compare with fellow players on that day. To really real you in, there is an award if you are among the best 10, 50 or 100 (gold, silver, bronze) on that day and you get to keep counting your additional badges over time. I am addicted to this variant and recommend it to anyone who likes Sagrada. Keep the solo plays coming Dave! .

Great video. I've played solo about 8 or 9 times, always using the easiest window and with 5 trick cards. I've never beaten it yet. Next time I play I'm thinking of scoring both totals from the coloured dice objectives to give me a fighting chance!
