MT. KITANGLAD RANGE AND CINCHONA FOREST RESERVE - Kaatuan, Lantapan, Bukidnon, Philippines

Mt. Kitanglad Range and Cinchona Forest Reserve is located at Kaatuan, Lantapan, Bukidnon, Philippines. According to the story of the caretaker during the World War II the park was used by the Japanese soldiers as their camped and hiding place. The dormitory, meeting place and the hospital was still there but it was not anymore used.
Mt. Kitanglad is also the place where you can find the 2nd largest flower in the world name Rafflesia Schadenbergiania. It is also the place where you can find the Philippine eagle and other variety of birds species. They have constructed a hanging bridge atop the towering trees so we can see the beauty of the Mt. Kitanglad range.
