Invisible? I would say no. You do it without flashing (kinda), but the entire move feels like a "move" and is very perceptible and sus. I love your content by the way, so I am saying all of this in love.
Couple things in here that are nice subtletys, never thought of using the lower third of the deck (better cover I assume is your reasoning? the cover shouldn't come from the angle of the pack or how low the card is placed in though...im still gonna try it out cause it cant hurt). Although placing the card that deep into the deck can be suspicious on it's own, and ultimately unnecessary. I can't say I'm a fan of the blatant angling of the deck and theres a ton of finger motion during the steal.. and I will explain why. Also, holding the deck in that awkward high grip and squaring a square deck right after putting a card in looks very sus as well. Your DPS doesn't flash (well the first one you showed in the video was flashing the palmed card pretty obviously), but your DPS is very perceptible, I would prefer a DPS that doesn't feel like theres a move going on.
Alex, think of it this way... you want the spectator just to think you placed a card back into the deck, and that nothing is happening (magical or otherwise). The deck was square already when you placed in the card, so why are you squaring up an already squared deck in a motion and grip that attracts attention? The entire execution of this DPS is flawed... and it's related to the same problem people have with the classic pass...
This is a huge problem with youtube magic in general... the worst of the worst is how people are taught the pass. Everyone is told to do it fast, and make it "invisible" and etc. It's absolutely garbage every time I see it done from MOST of the magicians teaching it... yeah you might not be able to SEE the cut happen, but the hands are the most insane tell ever. Why would your hands flinch like crazy and move around in unnatural ways after placing a card square into the deck? It makes 0 sense. The pass can and should be done slow, so it will not only be invisible, but will blend in with the natural resting position of the hands. The pass can also be done during a legit squaring of the deck, I leave the cards messy and do the pass as I square the cards, and do it slowly. It's imperceptible and invisible... which leads me to the DPS....
DPS suffers from the exact same problem as the classic pass, people focus so much on making it "invisible" that they forget to make it look "natural". The DPS should be done with no GRACEFUL movements, all you are doing is placing a card back inside the deck. There should be no style or grace to it whatsoever. The move should feel completely nonchalant. Angling the pack towards the ground that extreme is a very odd way to place a card back in (very unnatural looking), and people are going to think that looks weird. You CAN do the DPS while directly facing the spectator, and without turning the deck towards the ground, it just requires better technique. You get better cover by turning your body a little, but the way shown in this video is a pretty extreme. The way you insert the card is odd looking as well, and I guarantee when you place a card in the deck again normally you are going to do it in a completely different action (people WILL pickup on this subtle difference in motion). The thumb can provide excellent cover for the steal and palm, and you should be able to have your fingers completely outstretched and relaxed by the time you palm out the card. The fingers shouldn't be moving at all when the card is palmed out, the small action is covered by bringing the deck forwards in the hand as you set the deck on the table or hand it off to the spectator. The DPS was designed to be done at the table, and if it's going to be done in stand up then it should be covered by passing the deck over to the spectator, or at least setting the deck down on a table... it's critical to making the move natural. Without that action of handing out the deck or placing it down on the table, everything feels highly sus. It's like... "look at me I am going to very gracefully and strangely place your card back in the deck... then hold the deck in some weird high grip and look at you like :D :D :D". Nah dude, you might fool people with it, and you might have the move well covered without flashing, but IMO it's not gonna feel natural or like nothing happened. I think the reason you can pull this off live is because of misdirection and your scripting (on video not so much).... And I think you are a great performer and magician, but I think you teaching the move this way is going to lead people down a very bad path.
This is a very bad way to teach and execute a DPS. The left hand fingers (other than the pinky) should play NO part in sliding the card back into palm. It's only the thumb and pinky finger of the left hand that control the movement of the card, the other fingers should not be moving around or assisting the movement of the card... if they are... then you are doing the move incorrectly. So all those reasons are why I think this is a bad tutorial. It's nothing personal. I really enjoy your content, but this type of teaching annoys me. You might get away with performing your DPS like this, because you are an expert magician with good misdirection. However, someone new to the move or magic in general is going to suffer from doing it this way, they are gonna look more awkward than usual, and be suspicious as heck.
I know I'm being a bit overbearing and douche about this, but I have to say something cause I otherwise enjoy your content, but this tutorial is a D+.
