My Goodness Chelsea I was looking for someone to give me further explanation about this, I came across you. It was wonderful. I will never be far from you. I will never imagine how helpful these contents are. Jesus!
Currently, I am a doctoral student and I am writing the second chapter of my dissertation which is the literature review. This tutorial is extremely well done. It is clear with examples that make sense. I greatly appreciate your passion and clear communication skills. Thank you for giving me hope that I can finally complete my literature review.
on the same boat. This was helpful
ໍ
This comment just raised my anxiety that a doctoral student didn't know how to write their dissertation. How were we ever supposed to learn this stuff?
I just completed my introduction and now I am on Chapter Two! I feel you!! I also think this tutorial is helpful! Peace ✌️
You have helped me a great deal with formatting my papers and helping to structure them. Also, you are fun to watch and have great energy that sucks the viewer in so they actually learn what it is that they are supposed to do for the assignment.
I have watched a lot of videos already but nothing compares to how much this video has helped me to understand more about literature review. Thank you so much! 😭
Your description of referring language was my A-HA moment that made me realize exactly how to write and structure my literature review. Your videos are lifesavers!
You are a life saviour. I had this assigned due 2 weeks ago and I was so blocked and stucked because the assignment seemed so big and didnt know where to start. This helped me a LOT THANK YOU!!
This is incredibly helpful. Although my professor did not require an annotated bibliography, I used it as a tool to organize my resources which allowed me to write my paper very quickly. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have no idea how to make a literature review combining multiple sources. Your tutorial clarified it for me. I appreciate all you do!
Chelsea, you are amazing! I appreciate you and all of the information you give us. You have helped me so much during grad school.
Hello, this tutorial is by far the most efficient at covering most facets of a college level literature review. Thank you for your upload. It would help me considerably if you could guide me to which structure type and sources organization I should follow for a stand alone literature review on the benefits of mindfulness for depression and/or anxiety. I have an outline with subsections/topics on different techniques/interventions like MBCT, MBSR, gratitude and self-compassion respectively. Afterwards, there's sections on enhanced well being and mood. I do believe this may fall under thematic but would a problem/solution/example, question-and-answer or compare & contrast work best? Many thanks.
WOW!!! This video and these videos of Smart Student are the best! You are clear and thorough and I appreciate that! I am a master's student in Nursing and my BSN was a lot of years ago, so I am rusty in my writing, especially the "scholarly" writing. This was very helpful, except now I need to go back to my annotated bib and rewrite some!! The process of using the annotated bib and just cutting and pasting is a new way of looking at writing the whole paper. Thanks so much!
Oh wow, this was so helpful. I've never had someone demonstrate "referring language" before
Oh good! I'm glad you found it helpful :)
I got an A+ on my first literature review thanks to your tutorial! It was amazing and easy to follow! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge!
Just in time for my first literature review due this weekend. A God-sent video!
Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. Thanks to your video, I not only learned what a literature review is but was able to write and submit a pretty darn good one. Here's hoping for an A! Keep up the good work!!!!!
Thank you. The example at the end showing the transitions and language of affirmation was a great help in writing a literature review for a college assignment.
This is really helpful; I like how you simplify everything and demonstrate all the needed tools to do that; big thanks, you are an angel and a beautiful person; keep going.
TYSM for thing video!!! You have blessed us all. I just submitted my literature review for my research methods class. I could have not done it without your videos! Again TYSM ❤️
Thank you so very much! I am finding all of your videos helpful! You provide valuable insight that professors don't have have the time to provide. Thanks!

Hi, Smart Student, your writing tutorials in APA formatting, literature review, annotated bibliography and more, are very highly qualitative. It's a lot more than a free college education in comparison!! Keep up the GOOD WORK!!! Nwankpa, Austin A.

Thank you so much! You made my life so easy, I now have the confidence to write and present my literature review! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ by the way I am a masters student in France I have no previous knowledge in academic work or literature review this my first and I am so glad I found you.
This is absolutely an AMAZING tutorial, Chelsea. Thank you so much !
Even though my lit. review is going to be longer than this(1500-1800 words with at least 10 sources), what you showed us is a great example and a guide. I loved how you done the work step by step with every single detail. Keep up the fantastic work !
How many sources are ideal in writing literature review. Because this 2 page example definitely not enough for a real project work.
@@saidiadeyemi2052 I guess the number of sources depends on many things such as the word count, availability of related sources, expectations of your supervisor and the depth of your work. I think for example, for a master's dissertation, 15-25 sources would be okay in literature review section. My supervisor was more interested in the quality of the sources and how i make my points by using those sources than the number of sources.
Chelsea, you are such an amazing person and I can't really thank you enough. You made life soooo easy
Love your work! This can really motivate me to pursue the next step of my career growth in an academic area. My big appreciation goes to you^^

You perfectly covered how to write the literature review.👍 I was missing only the part about how would you deal with/organise the literature if you had 150+ sources. 😁

Merci, Gracias Chelsea, I'm a junior @CPP. My first time ever taking -Conducting Educational Research. Kind of difficult for me. We are working. One of the assignments we are working on is, you guess it ?. a college-level literature review. I find one of your videos. Wow, It's very helpful, Thanks, Chelsea.
I don't know how say that I love your tutorials.
Much appreciation for your dedication.
many thanks, it was so helpful, am ready to write my literature review now.
Amazing tutorial, thank you! Q: do we have to summarize every article we review, or can we just discuss/mention the elements that are useful to us? For example, if we put an article in the "problem" section, do we do a summary first or just focus on the problem statement that we'd like to use? secondly, do we talk about the evidence or solutions they offer if the article is categorized as the "problem" section article?
Thank you!! I really needed this!
Chelsea, thanks for this tutorial. The video is super helpful
Ms. Seburn, you are the best. I am a full-time student and am currently not working. I see you have contributions for $2, $5, $10, and $20. $2 would be fine because at least I contributed. You were such a great help to me that I have decided to contribute $10. This is the last paper (Literature Review / Thesis) for me to complete my master's, and it was a sticking point, but thanks to you my dream has become a reality. I have a job interview next week and not if, but when I nail it, I will come back to the site and contribute more. We need more of you on sites like these, not just showing how much you know, but instead, you broke it down so simple, that someone like me could get it. Thanks again, keep up the good work, and God Bless.
Hows your thesis going?

Thank you for this video, the contents are very helpful for my DBA dissertation.
Hi, I’m in the process of writing my lit review. Would appreciate if you can answer my question regarding in text citation. My question is, in accordance to apa 7th Ed, is it necessary to put the year of publish whenever I refer to author? For instance, smith (2020) indicates…. Also, Smith (2020) illustrates… thus, Smith (2020) concludes… so do I need to put the year all the time? By the way, you’ve been very helpful to my assignments. Thank you in advance!
