    Hello, this tutorial is by far the most efficient at covering most facets of a college level literature review. Thank you for your upload. It would help me considerably if you could guide me to which structure type and sources organization I should follow for a stand alone literature review on the benefits of mindfulness for depression and/or anxiety. I have an outline with subsections/topics on different techniques/interventions like MBCT, MBSR, gratitude and self-compassion respectively. Afterwards, there's sections on enhanced well being and mood. I do believe this may fall under thematic but would a problem/solution/example, question-and-answer or compare & contrast work best? Many thanks.

    WOW!!! This video and these videos of Smart Student are the best! You are clear and thorough and I appreciate that! I am a master's student in Nursing and my BSN was a lot of years ago, so I am rusty in my writing, especially the "scholarly" writing. This was very helpful, except now I need to go back to my annotated bib and rewrite some!! The process of using the annotated bib and just cutting and pasting is a new way of looking at writing the whole paper. Thanks so much!

    • @saidiadeyemi2052

      How many sources are ideal in writing literature review. Because this 2 page example definitely not enough for a real project work.

    • @erhanfindik254
      @erhanfindik254 Před 7 měsíci

      @@saidiadeyemi2052 I guess the number of sources depends on many things such as the word count, availability of related sources, expectations of your supervisor and the depth of your work. I think for example, for a master's dissertation, 15-25 sources would be okay in literature review section. My supervisor was more interested in the quality of the sources and how i make my points by using those sources than the number of sources.

    Amazing tutorial, thank you! Q: do we have to summarize every article we review, or can we just discuss/mention the elements that are useful to us? For example, if we put an article in the "problem" section, do we do a summary first or just focus on the problem statement that we'd like to use? secondly, do we talk about the evidence or solutions they offer if the article is categorized as the "problem" section article?

    Ms. Seburn, you are the best. I am a full-time student and am currently not working. I see you have contributions for $2, $5, $10, and $20. $2 would be fine because at least I contributed. You were such a great help to me that I have decided to contribute $10. This is the last paper (Literature Review / Thesis) for me to complete my master's, and it was a sticking point, but thanks to you my dream has become a reality. I have a job interview next week and not if, but when I nail it, I will come back to the site and contribute more. We need more of you on sites like these, not just showing how much you know, but instead, you broke it down so simple, that someone like me could get it. Thanks again, keep up the good work, and God Bless.

My question is, in accordance to apa 7th Ed, is it necessary to put the year of publish whenever I refer to author? For instance, smith (2020) indicates…. Also, Smith (2020) illustrates… thus, Smith (2020) concludes… so do I need to put the year all the time? By the way, you’ve been very helpful to my assignments. Thank you in advance!
