This Yankee season looks a lot like 2022 when after a sensational start they went 43-43 the rest of the way.
41-42 the rest of the way after 58-21
the Yankees announcers calling our boys "mid" hurt my feelings... :D
Well, being 'mid' was a good thing today. 🤣🤣
Jokes on him he got beat by a mid offense 😂😂😂
@@monkebusiness8779The only thing that was mediocre, was the Yankees. 😂
@@Southernguy39 😹😹😹
Michael Kay is the worst announcer in the history of baseball. I'm saying this as a Yankees fan.
It makes me happy to know that the O's didn't lose any position with their loss.
Very good series win for the Braves here. I think they're finally out of that funk they were in for about six weeks.
LOL
Good win to win the series against arguably the best team in baseball, and on the road. Outstanding work from the pitching staff, Fried with 6 innings 1 run, another amazing outing from him. Bullpen was outstanding with johnson, jimenez, iglesias. Offense scored just 3 but it was enough because of the great pitching. Homer from Kelenic, and Ozuna had a nice day. Good series win once again, now off to St. Louis, Schwellenbach to pitch the opener. Let’s go braves #ForTheA
The most overrated team in baseball. Lost or split every series with teams they've played that are well over .500
The best team in baseball?
They can't win against top tier teams. The Yankees are not the best team in baseball they are mid tier.
Despite my refusal to admit, Yankees have lost three straight series
They've lost all five series to the Braves, Dodgers, Orioles (2x), and Red Sox. 5-11 record. Simple. They aren't good enough to beat the good teams.
My Braves vs. Juan Soto Love To See ⚾🔴🔵⚪🪓 #BravesCountry
Michael Kay really said the braves offense has been “as the kids would say, mid” 😭
...and yet 'mid' was good enough to win the game and series. Sorry, Kay. 😂😂
@@johnathanpatrick6118naw be he ain’t wrong, we been pretty bad up until late
@@Gloecknessmonster Oh, no, I acknowledge that we've been middling for the most part until now, but sometimes being 'mid' can win series.
Never argued that. Congrats on winning the series y’all played solid 🤝 but statistically speaking, the braves offense has been “mid” this year. Especially compared to them last year.
Good win for the Bravos, they take the series against the best team in Baseball ( according to the won-lost record ) another great effort turned in by Max Fried, he, Kelenic and the BP are the games heroes, we go into St. Louis next so let's continue our winning ways there, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!
2 out of 3 from the yank-eez! Yes!!
Bro Soto tried to call time but he didn't get it 😂😂😂😂
Tardy signal. 🤷🏾♂️🤣
@braves we better extend Fried he needs to be our ace with strider and sale behind him dudes a freakin stud
Yankees announcer said Braves offense was "mid" LOL
Michael Kay. Well, he's kinda right in some ways, the offense is middling for the most part. But sometimes middling is good enough if the pitching does their part and holds the enemy offense in check.
That "mid" Braves offense has been better than the Yankees pathetic offense.
It's obviously not what it was without Acuna....Braves should be top 2 or 3 teams in the league
@@djsugarbear6715 Acuna himself before his season ending injury was scuffling.
Bichi tu mom
Cortes was great just couldn't figure out Fried
GG Braves
GG Yankees it was a good series between two really good teams
I'm here for the Fried Rice ⚾️💨 (I'm I the only one who caught that😂) 2:12
Stupid.
Great win braves
Good series boys let’s beat those cards next 👏👏
It seems like a repeat of last year. Yankees are hot initially but started swooning before the all star break. Their pitching still seems okay but the offense is sputtering again...
So, we lost three straight series, now.
Fourth series in a row the Yankees have lost.
Yankees are in 2023 form with their roster feeling more like a mash unit than a baseball team.
In real-time, it's hard to discern the order, but watch Soto's timeout gesture at reduced speed (0.25). Soto's hand was up before the pitcher started the windup.
The Atlanta Braves are 43-32🔵🔴⚪️🪓🅰️
The Atlanta Braves are the worst team in MLB. Yes, worse than the White Sox.
All we need is one good pitcher we can afford to let dodgers/phillies burn out thru regular season
@@chesberger4474 Keep crying.
@@chesberger4474Bad bait 😂😂

Braves4Life🎉⚾️⚾️🔥
The Yankees are 3-8 in their last 11 games. Their Pitching in their last 11 Games has allowed 71 Runs.
I'm not a Braves or Yankees fan, but I follow the game.
Several weeks ago, when the Braves were really struggling, I commented that they would be ok. They have far too much talent to be a second division team.
And here they are, on a roll and playing the way Braves fans expect them to play.
I knew we would be ok yes we’ve been hurting losing a lot of players but we’ve been fine not the best but the braves are still a really good team and they showed it in this series
🫶
Atleast the orioles got swept, still got a 1.5 game lead
that's a silver lining in this loss hopefully we get back on track
Yankees should of won this series that 4 straight series they lost
Right call right there. Umpire shouldnt give in to those late batter time outs
Stanton needs a stretching
Crazy how the Yankees announcer called the braves offense mid and they got beat
As a lifelong Braves fan it is pretty mid right now but it’s picking up. When your pitching has held your opponents to the second fewest runs in baseball, you can afford to not have the best offense.
The Braves win the series, the braves have Ramon Laureano now, the Braves did a excellent job keeping Judge and Soto and the rest of The Yanks stars out of this Game three.⚾
8:33. Never step out of the box to call time with 2 strikes.
Max Fried auditioning nicely for other teams I see. Dansby contract-year mode engaged.
The Yankees really have a knack for piling up wins against weak teams and folding against the tough ones. They can't seem to handle powerhouses like the Dodgers, Orioles, or Braves.😂
Soto misplays balls in the outfield and acts like a high school kid at the plate. He's not acting like a team player.
Who said he was? A mercenary like all the others.
He's overrated.
Acabou o Gás dos Yankees, A Verdadeira Realidade desse Time chegou!
0:07 it isn't a MLB season without him being hurt 🤷♀️
2:52 very fitting to describe the braves after this performance
I'm a Yankees fan. I like the braves so I can't be mad about the braves winning this!
Yanks don't have it when it counts, great record notwithstanding. Dodger series similar. And the O's.
The Yankees are falling apart, and despite that Gleyber Torres keeps playing every day.
nestor was nasty but yankees feeling stantons absence
tough to lose Big G for the next 4 weeks
Notes from the Game:
+ MAXIMUS FRIED with a GREAT Performance Today! 6 Innings of 1-Run, 6-Hit Ball, Walking NONE and Striking out 4 en route to Victory! Fried improves to 7-3 with an ERA of 3.00! Another NEEDED Result from MAXMIMUS!
+ Bullpen once again TOOK CARE OF THE REST! Johnson, Jimenez, and Iglesias combine to FINISH the Final 3 Innings, allowing just 1 Hit while Striking Out 5. Rasiel Iglesias gets his 20th Save, Pitching a PERFECT 9TH while Striking Out Two!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 1 Run, 7 Hits, NO Walks, 9 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed!
1-2 with Runners in Scoring Position, and 4 Total Men left on Base. It was a Tough Day, but the Braves' Offense made it work!
+ JARRED KELENIC SHOWING OUT FROM THE LEADOFF SPOT! 1-3 with a SOLO SUPER MISSILE and RBI Sacrifice Fly! Kelenic stands firm with a .270 Average, .757 OPS, and 7 Home Runs on the Season!
+ THE OZ-MAN WITH THE GAME-DECISIVE HIT! 1-4 with an RBI Single in the 5th! Albies holds firm with a .262 Average with an OPS of .733!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Marcell Ozuna had a 2-4 Day, while Laureano and Arcia had 1 Hit Each. NEITHER Team Recorded a Walk, though Sean Murphy did record getting WHACKED-BY-A-PITCH in the 2nd, Meaning Riley, Duvall, and Olson had 0'fer Days, going a Combined 0-12 with 3 Ks.
+ THE BRAVES WIN THE SERIES AGAINST THE BEST TEAM IN THE MAJORS! Fried was GREAT, the Bullpen continues to IMPRESS, the Defense was SOLID, and the Offense Made the Most of their Few Scoring Opportunities Today! ONWARD TO ST. LOUIS!
- Unfortunately, the Phillies WON their Series against the Diamondbacks, exacting REVENGANCE for the NLCS Last Year. This Keeps the Braves at 7 Games Behind the Phils for the Division Lead.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Yankees will travel a short ways down I-87 and I-278 to Queens to Battle their Little Little Brothers in Queens: The Mets! David Peterson will get the Call for the Mets, who has WON Three Straight Outings, including his most recent one against the Defending WS Champion Rangers, in which he allowed 2 Runs on 4 Hits in 6 Innings of Work.
Meanwhile, Gerrit Cole will take the rubber for the Yanks, who is making only his 2nd Start of the Season after going 4 Innings and Allowing 2 Runs on 3 Hits in a No Decision against Baltimore on Wednesday.
Can Cole and the Yankees regain Traction and Start the Series in Queens with a NEEDED Win?
Or will Peterson, The Mets, and their Grimacing DELUSION Continue to get EVER BIGGER?
We will find out Tuesday Night at 7:10 P.M. EDT on SNY (Mets), YES (Yankees), and... TBS (Out-Of-Market ONLY)?!
The St. Louis Cardinals...
Gotta Admit, for a Team that FELL OFF A CLIFF Last Year... They're actually looking decent!
Sure, the NL Central is a TOTAL MESS, but sometimes just keeping your head above the water might give you the momentum you need later on.
They've Got a Respectable Pitching Staff, and the Offense can be surprisingly potent if you're not careful.
So Let's see what these Birds have in stock!
It's the St. Louis Cardinals... AND YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES!
ROUND 1 OF 3 Between the NL Foes will take place under the Evening Skies of Busch Stadium. Lance Lynn will take the mound for the Red Birds, who's had an Odd June so far, Having No Wins OR Losses, and only going 5+ Innings in his last start, a 5 1/3 Inning Outing where he allowed 6 Runs (5 Earned) on 10 Hits, which included 2 Home Runs against the Fish.
Meanwhile, SPENCER SCHWELLENBACH will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, who pitched IMPRESSIVELY against the Tigers, allowing just 1 Run on 3 Hits in 6 Innings of Work, earning his FIRST MAJOR LEAGUE WIN in the Process!
Can SCHWELLENBACH and the Braves start a New Winning Streak with an Opening Series WIN against the Cards?
Or will Lynn and the Red Birds have a Plan in mind for the Tomahawk Chop?
We will find out at 7:45 P.M. EDT / 6:45 P.M. CDT on Bally Sports Midwest (Cardinals), Bally Sports South (Braves), and MLB Network (Out-Of-Market ONLY)!
SoundFX09, Signing Out!
Every like equal to one push-up 😂
3 straight series losses 😬 and one being against the red sox I don't understand how.
This was just a good game.
Very lucky.
The Yankees have GOT TO STOP playing "New York, New York" after they lose a game at home. They should just play it after a win.
Youre right dog, I was at the stadium on Thursday, its ABSURD hearing it after a 17 - 5 loss.

Doesn't take long watching MLB to learn that God decides baseball games.
Yankees deja dudas🤔perdio series con dodgers , red sox, orioles , braves, solo se agranda con los de menos rendimiento...
The Yankees are playing like the season they played again in 2023, losing series after series. If the Yankees don't learn from their mistakes, they will lose more than half of the remaining games
Who is winning World Series
r u telling me a shrimp Fried this Rice?
Let’s go
As a kid would say it’s very mid
Volpe always seems to be squinting when at bat. Needs corrective lens?
2:15 -- man, Bally Sports, y'all wrong for that!! 🤣🤣
Anyways, nice road series win against one of the best teams in the league this season, irrelevant that they're scuffling a bit. Fried outdueling Nestor with contributions from Kelenic and Albies offensively. Now it's time to march toward the Arch for a date with St. Louis next. See y'all next year, Yankees, good series that could have gone either direction. 😁😁

Giancarlo hurt??? No way!!! I don't believe it!!!
Stanton is the only player I know who pulls a hammie while jogging around the base paths … probably out till after the all-star break and will be in re hab mode till September in other words he is done for the year
Yea the Yankees can fix this with some deadline trades, including Rice, Jones, and Arias but Cashman would rather value consistency than the actual epitome…
а Буун точно тренер?
Fried el tom glavine de la nueva generacion
go Ben Rice i love this kid
now we're getting tested i want to see what this team is made of are we the team that are the best team in baseball before this. or is that record we earned was just luck and beating up bad teams. i hope we figure this out and get back on track we got JD Davis his bat will help.
Braves lucky to have Kelenic and Laueano. Besides Albies and Ozuna, not much offense.
So you just called Riley a loser huh 😂😂😂
Haven't watched the video yet but let me guess...Nestor playing a home game, Yankees lose? edit: Yep. They lost.
Not Nestor's fault, only real mistake was the home run by Kelenic. Outside of Volpe driving a run in every other Yankee did diddly. Missing Giancarlo too badly, I guess.
