HOW TO DRAW Hyper Realistic Eyes | Step by Step Tutorial for BEGINNERS

In this video, I show you step-by-step how I created a realistic eye drawing using graphite pencils.
NOTE: Please know that at this stage in my art journey, I am still learning. This video is simply how I created this look and is by no means meant to be the only technique on how to draw eyes. I hope you find it helpful.

MATERIALS I USED:
* Paper: 5.5”x8.5” Canson “Drawing” smooth surface
* Pencils: Derwent pencils B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B and Faber Castell Polychromos black
* White Gelly Roll pen (for bright white highlights)
* Erasers: Tombo Mono Zero, kneaded eraser, GUM eraser
* Pencil sharpener
* Blending Tools: soft filbert paint brush (makeup brushes work too), blending stumps, Q-Tip/cotton bud, soft tissue paper
* Sandpaper for cleaning/sharpening blending stumps

How do you sketch your drawing to start with the details in your realistic drawing.
I would recommend using the grid method to sketch out your outline.
It's really helpful for all artists

One word of warning if you use facial tissue to blend your art... be careful NOT to use tissue with LOTION! I’ve made that mistake, it was a mess and ruined my drawing.
