- Learn how to connect your JBL Bluetooth Speaker to your Mac.
If you want to listen to your music from the JBL Bluetooth speaker, you can simply connect it to your Mac. Once paired, you can listen to your music and watch your movies using the Bluetooth speaker.
How To Connect JBL Bluetooth Speaker
Place your JBL Bluetooth speaker in pairing mode.
Open the Accessibility menu at the top right on your Mac
Tap on the arrow beside Bluetooth, then tap on Bluetooth Preferences as shown in the video.
Find the Bluetooth speaker you want to connect
Tap on Connect

OH My God Thank You so much Man! That was so helpful! I connected it but it wasn't playing sound from my speaker. you just showed me I had to do further instructions to make sure the sound was going through by going to the "sound" option. Thank You man! :)

Sometimes it works on my older MacBook Pro, sometimes it does not...after a dozen or so attempts it worked. I am going to watch this a few more times...My Mac is older than yours, and I was unable to see which little icon in the top right you were using...I must have held my mouth just right as it is working now...Great instructions which I will watch again ! I have never had a problem connecting it to my old iPhone 6s, and now easy with my new iPhone 14 Pro as well...just the computer is picky...

You changed everything! Now when my JBL doesn't sync automatically, I open System Preferences, click on SOUND file, click on the box above that says OUTPUT, then click on the large box below and within seconds I am connected! ...minimizing the sound folder. Thanks for solving the mystery of the last 6 frustrating months! Output... I was clueless!

Theoretically. That is exactly what I did but the iMac doesn't connect to the Flip6. It can see it but it doesn't connect.
The memory of the JBL could be full. Try resetting the speaker.
@@WebproeducationOrgTechnology Thanks for your quick reply. Don't know if it counts as a reset but I turned everything off, made the computer 'forget' the speaker, did a new pairing and bingo. Thanks for the help!!
