I met Phil once in Birmingham, Alabama after a show on their corruptour. They had, Miss May I, I Delcare War, Oceano, Impending Doom, and Whitchapel were headlining. All those bands under one roof for that night. It was like Santa came to my house 5 times in one night!! Anyways, they were all nice, I got a chance to meet almost all of them, but Phil is a real class act. He and I had a 10 minute discussion about how awesome they are, and he never made me feel like I was wasting his time. Funny thing about the growls sounding so beastly, he's like 5'4" He seems so much taller on stage and in videos, but he is pretty short and very skinny. Its hilarious and inspiring at the same time that something so powerful, can come out of someone that little. My next Whitechapel recommendation would have to be Breeding Violence.
Hey hey Pink! Love Whitechapel! Two of my favorites are Diggs Road and I Dementia! Diggs Road is very emotional and powerful. It is about how Phil waa coping with the death of his parents. It has 2 short, but amazing guitar solos. I Dementia is just groovy and bad ass! And it has a video! 😜 If you like a good breakdown, you should do a reaction for Sit Stay Roll Over by Jinjer. I would never guess you're a metal head. I always think that's so cool because people say the same about me. Whitechapel is one of my favorite bands. I get to see them play the ENTIRE this is exile album in December and I am fucking STOKED. They're playing with oceano, slaughter to prevail (I've seen them both once already) and chelsea grin. I like chelsea grin but getting to see slaughter, whitechapel AND oceano all in one night is probably the most amazing thing ever for me.

Since a majority of metal fans are white males it makes me feel good to see women into metal. Also makes me feel good when a black person is into heavy metal. With you we get both. Being you're adorable is just a bonus.
