DLP FEBRUARY 2024 - DISNEYLAND HOTEL CHECK IN & ROOM TOUR - FIRST LOOK AROUND - ELLIE AND MITCHELL

- Today its travel day to Disneyland Paris and we are checking in to the Disneyland Hotel.
In this vlog you will see what arriving by car looks like, check in, our room tour, and some first impressions of the hotel, shop, merchandise, and food on offer at the Royal Banquet.
Disneyland Paris was very wet this trip so our time in the Disneyland park today was limited, although we do manage a look at the castle and soon food.
For dinner we eat at the Manhattan Restaurant in The Art of Marvel - which was delicious.
Today was really about the hotel and our first impressions of it. We loved being there and we hope you enjoy the vlog.

LOVED this! It was so amazing to see what the Disneyland Hotel is like! The room looks amazing! So cool you can play music in the bathroom and the intro when you turn the TV on is so awesome! The sweatshirt you bought is so nice! The emergency slipper delivery is intense!
It is bad that for €100 they haven't put much effort into the vegetarian or vegan options. Buffets at DLP are always so poor for plant-based options for but €100 they totally need to add value for money. It is such a shame a lot of the food at DLP is lukewarm, definitely would like the food a bit hotter to enjoy it more!
I've been so excited to see this super special birthday trip and I cannot wait for the rest of the vlogs!
You certainly have to forget how much the buffet cost to enjoy it. Really limited, but the setting was lovely 😍
That said, we went for vegetarian food, so it’s going to be even less choice for vegans!
Haha, emergency slipper delivery was unbelievable, like not even a hello. Funny we managed to get it on camera at least 😂
First time I've seen your vblog! Enjoying your chatting, not speaking too fast! Good to see a normal room at the Disney Hotel, something more affordable (!) I worry about the food thats on offer as I'm dairy and gluten intolerant, I couldnt eat the pasta or bread for example- are disney getting better with catering for those that have special diets?
Hi 👋 Thank for watching 😍 The food was a bit of an issue, I mean it’s always felt less accommodating than WDW, but most places seem happy to have a chef come out if you need to discuss requirements.
We don’t eat meat, and would have found it impossible to eat if we couldn’t also have gluten or dairy. However, there probably was meat dishes where you could avoid those things.
Buffets in DLP have been generally better for us so that we have a choice.

When I went to Disneyland Paris I really struggled with vegetarian options, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys eat! Hope you had a great birthday Ellie! Were your nails Disney/birthday themed?
My nails!!! I forgot to show them 😭 Yes they were Disney, but subtle so matched the hotel 😍 The food is always a bit of a shame, but think we did ok this time 😀

How was the check in process? Been reading and hearing of issues. TIA
It was quite confusing given the amount of people at the time we were there, but we put the disorganisation down to it being a couple of weeks after it opening. The whole process was much calmer on check out though.
I assume that you meet characters in this hotel all the time as they are all over the place? 😀 In a lobby, kid’s “Library”, at breakfast time … anywhere else please? Thanks 🌷🌷🌸💗
Apart from the specific places you mentioned, they just appear in different places. We saw most heading to or from the area where the restaurants are, but you do see them in reception etc 😀

Is the only option valet parking…..?? We can’t park ourselves at the hotel
We certainly weren’t given an option and every car we saw was forced to valet. Possibly why it took so long. But, it was really quick to get the car back on checkout. You can seen some car parking from the front entrance, but unsure what that’s used for as it didn’t look that big.

Hi 👋 There wasn’t a limit when we were there, however only hotel guests we allowed in. That may have changed now that anyone can enter the hotel.
