Agree with Aaron on dube. I don’t think they picked him for his bowling and even if they did. He isn’t a finisher like Rinku and might struggle like today in chases. To be honest Indian team with pant, Hardik/Dube and Jadeja will struggle to hit big in crunch situations in chases.

I think it was a lot to do with the impotence of the Indian populace in general. They have achieved nothing significant in their own lives, so they live vicariously through the 'reflected glory' of their 'heroes'. Now the funny thing is, that even their 'heroes' haven't achieved anything significant (compared to the real elite teams in the world). So any little kindergarten level of 'achievement' must be aggrandized so that their little hero's little self--esteem can be elevated and these people, in return can bask in that 'achievement'.
