  • 🏵️ Bring vibrant blooms to your shaded spaces with tuberous begonias! Perfect for gardens, patios, and hanging baskets, these beauties thrive in shade or partial sun.
Kickstart your summer floral display by planting begonia tubers indoors from mid-February to mid-March for blooms all summer long. 📅
    Here’s how to start them:
🌱 Fill a 4" pot 2/3 full with moistened Starter Mix soil.
🌱 Nestle tuber into the starter mix to 1/2 the tuber depth, with the indented side facing upwards.
🌱 Place the pot in a warm, bright location and wait for it to sprout. Note: If your space is cool and dark, use a heat sheet and a grow light.
🌱 Water around the tuber to keep the soil moist but not soggy, avoiding the dimple.
🌱 Once 2-3 leaves have emerged, fertilize every two weeks with SuperStarter 10-52-10 or Transplanter 5-15-5.
🌱 Once the plant is well-rooted, transplant it into a larger container or hanging basket.
    We recommend these pot-to-tuber ratios:
    6" pot - 1 tuber
    10" pot - 2 tubers
    12" pot - 3 tubers
    14" pot - 3-4 tubers
    16" pot - 4 tubers
Finally, gradually acclimate plants outdoors at the end of May.
