I can't believe he didn't recommend the strongest character, The Open Faced grey knight
Thieves' forest is still a pain in the ass, good luck surviving that on insane mode.
Bro hasnt seen necromancer yet
But yeah i agree if you dont have red or blue knight
This is by far one of the best insane mode build guides I've seen in quite awhile. I can verify everything mentioned in here is 100% true.
Currently stuck on the desert with the Iceskimo, and of course of ALL the levels to get stuck in, it has to be the desert.
What's the biggest issue about the desert for you? The scarabs? Or the royal guards?
In every insane mode playthough I never first try desert . But full moon is the one I always get stuck on for insane , even with glitches
Currently stuck on the marsh level, the giant skeletons are kicking my butt
For those curious, Crit chance really gets way better with higher crit chances- it helps to visualize them as the smallest fraction. for example, Gold Skull Mace (my personal preferred weapon) has a 4% crit, or 1/25. Compared to the 3% crit, at 1/33. The jump from 1% to two is the biggest, from 1/100 to 1/50. The jump from 4 to 5 is the smallest, 1/25 to 1/20. While chainsaw technically has a higher crit, I prefer Gold for its +3 to strength and a slightly lower chance. Good luck, Crashers!
I always will use Green Knight, but still seemed very helpful, and sounds like something that would work. Also every time I see "Insane Mode", or hear it from you, it makes your "Level 1 Insane Mode Run!" Echo, echo around in my head!
I'm on a quest to complete insane mode with EVERY character, I have beat it with gray knight, blue knight, alien and barbarian in that order (with barbarian being the fastest of the 4).
Right now I'm about to try with the pink knight, and next in line are the king and green knight.
Another awesome video, it’s honestly crazy how I used to play this game as a kid and even now as an adult people like you can still make this game feel very fresh
these are SUPER good tips, great work dude, i like seeing how far you have come since i first saw your channel!
Thanks, i needed this video!!
The only crit weapon I use is the chainsaw and I'm pretty sure the golden skull mace has the highest crit chance in the game.
why is this motivating me to continue my psycho first time insane mode challenge with green knight. I had already forgotten the dumb idea but why did I now remember it xd
Nice vid recker, a few weeks ago managed to complete insane mode with blue knight (idk why i used scratchpaw lol)
Bro thank you I needed this, me and my bro wanna get the necromancer so badly, thanks reckerless
This is useful, i might try it rn to beat insane mod, currently using blue for that xD
I would think this is the best guide for insane mode of all time
Practically Golden Skull Mace is the best melee weapon. It has insane crit dmg so it deals more damage than other weapons
This video is the holy grail
bear is useful if you want 1 extra defence and 1 less strength than snoot.
Epic!
Personally as someone who refuses to not Barbarian, the pet and weapon suggestions were still good.
I just realized in the console version the club has crit chance...
Epic W
I bought the game again! And after 10 years of inactivity. I beat Troll Mother on Insane Mode. FIRST TRY, on a low-level character.
My goal is to be at Worst’s skill level. But, that’d take a while. 💀
I gotta get the hang of the game again before I do that.
Thank you for the donation!! With enough practice, I’m confident you will make it to worst’s level! First trying troll mother is already an amazing feat
i would say if your doing multiplayer then piggy and hawkster is an overpower combo, especially if one person struggles with surviving.
im also so glad you mentioned how useless crit is because i never understood it.
edit: forgot to mention red knight is insanely overpowered for crowd control and bosses, especially when paired with blue knight.
The way crit calcs work out you’d want the Man-Catcher over something like the Golden Mace every time. Crit is best used to accentuate high base damage! Not a replacement stat.
Is it possible to juggle with green knight?
I've been stuck on insane mode for a while and I somehow forgot about the character that can literally freeze everyone else.
Honestly, the only character i managed to solo beat Insane mode with was the Res knight. That lightning chain is such a cherry and icing.
Yes
can you use the igloo guy
I have the club but, how do i get the other weapon?
i was stuck on the trollmother for the longest time, until i finally beated it. then i got stumped around lava world
I saw the necromancer fight coming. Friday's stream was.... interesting...
PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA SUCKS! AND SO DOES SEAFOOD PIZZA!!!
cool
My personal build is red knight with beholder and unicorn horn... because stunlock funni for pvp and every non boss
Finally somebody else truly recognizes Blue Knight's power. Man has a literal infinite and he isn't the best? Get outta here, I would've never beat the Groom solo with any other character lol
You can stunlock the groom with well timed, max agility bow shots if you are able to shoot him to the left wall. It works.
The hardest part is just making sure he's in the correct position and getting the rhythm of the shots to be as fast as possible.
I got the game like two weeks ago and I’m stuck on the desert
desert is rough, if you have max agility, the bow is a great choice for the scarabs and antlions
Nah I’ll still play alien
Hey Recker, binged most of your CC videos and love them but noticed you never mention the bow/agility? The bow can be extremely viable. The groom boss fight can be stunlocked with the bow if you hit him on the left side.
As well as most mobs/beefys in the game you can juggle/stunlock with the bow and with the max agility you can easily reposition if they get too close.
Whenever I start a new character run I always level agility first. Since I'm going to juggle anyway I might as well get the most experience too since this game gives you EXP per hit, not per kill. So it makes sense to use weaker hits in the juggle. Faster agility/speed makes juggling much easier.
i would always priortise strength/defence over agility for insane mode due to the high number of enemies and juggling being the most effective way of defeating them. with blue knights magic, you dont really need to use the bow. but with that being said, bow is still good to use :)
Ahh, that definitely makes sense to upgrade strength/defense for insane mode.
My reason for agility first, is to beat the first run with no strength to unlock insane mode. Then do the Troll Mother boss fight in insane mode a few times, completely ignoring her and focusing on the enemies she spawns to level up very quickly. It would be a grind, for sure, but a character can reach max level very early on insane mode doing the fight with no strength.
I level agility to the max first, then magic for offense when the bow lacks DPS at times, then defense, and finally hold off on strength until I have enough skill points to fully max it out in one go.
There might be faster exp methods that I don't know about. But that's what I discovered when the game first came out years ago.
Me who is playing on xbox 360 which has different stats for the mancatcher and snoot only gives +2 strength
If you do the math, the chainsaw on average will do more damage than the club (because of crit), and also doesn't remove agility while providing the same defense. Chainsaw is better
for solo enemies yes! but for groups of enemies (most of the game) crits are not as good
Ight time to change my gear and continue Insane Solo run as Hatty.
Btw where do i find the other weapon the man catcher o smt?
@@CR1MSONACE Correction: This one is sold in the Snowlands Insane Story, meaning you pretty much can only get it after you've beaten most of the game on Insane mode.
I had a question, i had a weapon, and i can't pick it up, is like a spiked mallet pls help :c
im not sure, you might not be high enough level for it so it would just go straight to the blascksmith
speaking of builds, you should do tornado only with a friend as there are two tornado characters
@@Reckerless yeah I've watched a bunch of your videos, that's why I want to see you do it with a friend, even if it was just for a stream
Can u help me get nekromanser
Beat the game boomerang only (or you cant do that?)
Why did you say to use gray knight but then only used blue knight in the tutorial?
when is the guitar cover for "Floyd The Barber" - Nirvana
can u do a speedrun please. or make a new speedrun category
What about red knight
In the pc virsion the bear club has a critical hit
I remember when...
I made it to full moon ( no stat run), finally.
me who already was playing insane mode with blue knight and bear club: 👁👄👁
Gaming
I personally found it easiest to beat the game on Insane mode with
Character: Red Knight
Weapon: Unicorn Horn
Pet: Beholder (Bipolar Bear on Bosses)
Better idea: run Blue Knight and Industrialist using 2 controllers.
I made it to desert on insane mode with GREEN KNIGHT. I have many regrets.
In my opinion it is skill. I have negative skill :(. I also have a strat for all light weight enemies, spam bow
Naah pink knight op bro
I won't forget about your pizza takes
Hawaiian pizza and sea food pizza
-Suggests Mancatcher to help beat insane mode.
-Doesn't mention you get Mancatcher by effectively completely most of Insane mode (You buy it in the Snowlands store, exclusively in Insane Mode)
EDIT: you get this right out of the gate on PC if you own the Blacksmith DLC; I forgot about that, sorry!
@@Reckerless Oh, I guess I missed that part. Will correct my comment!
@@IDGCaptainRussia i didnt mention it in the video and is honestly an oversight by me, i forget that consoles get the mancatcher in the snow store insane, my bad
I won insane mode with a friend by spamming the bow at enemies
if only this video came out when I actually still played this game
not going back
Do insane mode without taking damage and no stats
So there’s no one gonna talk about how bipolar can attack you yeah he instant killed me when I was trying to fight the final boss
Hey Reckerless can you Play Castle Crashers Friday night funkin?
w
@@ComiCross Sadly, I have not been bringed the opportunity to, but I may
never played insane but i dont wanna
Where is sea horse
Great guide. But it doesn’t help with my massive skill issue.
chainsaw
3:15 you spelled defense wrong. (Unless its a british thing idk)
Objectively wrong. Best build for Insane Mode is King, Seahorse, and the Mace. King for your character because he has OBJECTIVELY the best magic in the game, Seahorse because his effect is blatantly OP and should probably get nerfed (+2 agility makes the game too easy), and the Mace because it has a hidden ability to PP Ground strat on command.
👇 one like is one light attack i will record it btw
Alr fine. the one comment like this i'll like. because you'll record it.
I would use th bipolar bear if I trusted it. I will never the time it killed me
Bipolar Bear mauls you if you're at exactly 11 or less health so you must've been pretty unlucky
pls give me my membership back 😭😭😭
This video is not good because he didn't recommend red kight.
in my opinion insane mode is really easy
Nah
Fencer + beholder go brrrrrrr
another sword that shouldve been mentioned is the NG Gold Sword, its basically the same as Club except magic replaces the defense, so with +5 strength & magic you can have better elemental infusions + drills
aside from that excellent video my man, great to see this kind of content for these parts of the game!!
