A rare video of Jose Wales singing and DJing at Fort Clarence Beach, and, of King Yellow toasting at Luz Beach Club, St. Thomas. Fort Clarence Beach was a popular beach spot for a family day out and stage shows from early afternoon into the night. Of course, the delicious treat of festival and fry/steam fish was ever-present. Luz Beach Club, a quaint and quiet public beach near Lyssons, St. Thomas, was the HQ for Ace's HiFi sound system.
The King Yellow Man footage is EPIC....from the people dem ah bubble in di back ground...to the King him self....I love my people dem...we likkle but bwooy we tallahwah! 🇯🇲
There are so many great dancehall deejays in Jamaica and all over the world, but this yellowman clip is a prime example of why he was labelled and crowned King Yellowman.. 💪🇬🇧

Spent my honeymoon in West JA, planned it around shows. The topper was a late night outdoor show in Sav La Mar, Yellow, Beres, Abyssinians. Yellowman was in top form. Just ruled the dancehall.

Yellow Man footage is from 1982. Triston Palmer performed after this set and the footage is online. Yellow Man introduced him before his performance in the same clothes. Musical Youth used elements of Sensimilla to make Pass the Dutchie in 1982.
Only one Dj that was crown 👑 king of the dancehall is ,king 👑 Stitch by the people. URoy is the greatest DJ of all times and, the smoothest. The greatest young DJ I heard is, General Echo and Wilton Irie. Those guys have number one hit songs on RJR radio station, also JBC before Yellow man could push out his head. Most younger DJs only come to prominent when, General Echo died in 1980 ,it is now 44 years.

Would recommend to place your audio on videos (Yellowman) like these in mono. Really hard to listen when it's hard-panned to only one. Cheers Leo!
Give thanks for the recommendation, Cameron. My problem is that I play the tapes as they are, some are mono some are stereo. I need a device that can turn one track into two. Stay safe.
@@LeoOReggio I would use Audacity! You can export the audio files, split where the tape begins into mono (one right channel) and mix it into true mono so both channels have the information. The music is still super amazing, and it's also possible for a watcher to enable a mono setting on the computer, but it's easier for it to already be mastered like that. Give Thanks eternally for the videos :)
