- LOMI is a Filipino chicken noodle soup originated in Lipa Batangas, invented by a Chinese who stayed in Lipa, named To Kim Eng in 1968. It is made out of a very thick fresh egg noodles, chicken strips is sautéed with garlic, onion, fish sauce and pepper, chicken stock is added and it is thickened by adding cornstarch and beaten eggs.
It is mostly served in carinderias here in the Philippines and best eaten during winter and rainy season. It is best served while steaming hot.

I love the way this cooking video is presented with no verbal dramas but straight to the point. It’s so easy to pickup the sequence of cooking visually as it takes place from start to finish. Dish also looks delicious.

Can i suggest,,you can add in 2tbsp of sesame oil,,to taste it more authentic,,me i put also celery,,but it can be optional,,try it,🥰🥰🥰 i already watch this last 2 years and after two years ,i did cook it adding sesame oil,,somebody also suggested it to me ang she is Chinese,,,😋😋😋its so yummy✌️✌️✌️😂👍👋
Ito yung gusto kong matutunang lutuin. When I was in Riyadh I tried to cook lomi using spaghetti pasta.

Yung lomi noodles po ba ay luto na sa packet pa lang? Ilang minutes po ba dapat sya pakuluan. Kase mostly na nakain ko lomi soggy n yung noodles. Gusto ko yung tama lang na firm pa din.
Kong magluluto ng lomi hilaw pa mabuting smooth may katagalan ng konti lutuin yung lomi
