I was on the fence with this version at first, then the rhythm section came in and tied the room together.
This is definitely "different". Nellys version was definitely a love song, a lot of the covers here on CZcams are covers by males that have " beautiful" voices. The reason why nellys version worked was because it was not " classically beatiful" it was different a bit quirky, that's why I bought Whoa Nelly! Theres actually a lot of great album cuts on there
