Actually, they are two sides of the same coin that illustrate two facets of the same issue: The husband's leadership is unhealthy. This then raises a few more queries.
Isn't it the case that a man who truly demonstrates leadership in the home should be the one to demand or even expect his own treatment? Isn't that the very definition of leadership, or is the idea of male leadership in the home just another outdated, sexist tool employed by countless men to continue mistreating and being misogynistic toward women?
The primary duty of a husband or father is to provide an environment in which his spouse and kids can flourish under God.
