- Hey folks, welcome to GLYDePATH. Just a quick little vid to showcase the Pedego Thumb Throttle attachment I recently purchased from Amazon. Still doing more testing on the new gear and re-learning how to edit! GoPro MAX is not a fun device to set up but hopefully I got it worked out for the next video!

Nice, i got the Pedego thumb throttle and prefer it over the twist throttle on my GT1. I used the 1.6mm strap thing and was able to tighten it all the way down where it gripped well and was not causing the throttle to stick. This is such a nice upgrade over my Max G2 commuter. I would even consider the GT1 a great short range commuter at full speed. Thumbs up. 😁👊

Even though I dont have an eScooter i do think the thumb throttle sould be there in the first place. the video was real good it liked the 360 part on the the last few parts. though the cattle gard does make we cringe when you go over it becase the tires allwayse look like they will get clipped by the guard. Great video cant wait to see the next!

Sorry for the late reply. I used the thinnest one, just don’t tighten it too tight or it will cause the throttle to stick.
A purchased the thumb pedego 3 diferents tape 1.0 mm 1.6mm o 2.8 mm what use please ???? Thanks

If you have a motorcycle throttle on any bike scooter automatically registered through the DMV if you have a thumb throttle you do not have to register and I don't know why the purpose and reason is it but I know you do need to do that cuz I got a ticket for
No, don’t do it. My GT2 has the twist throttle and my ebike has the thumb throttle. The twist throttle is by far the best. The thumb hurts more after prolonged use and the twist throttle has better control, physically.
should segway put a thumb throttle on gt1/2 , of course not . ilove it the way it is its the only scooter with this throttle and all my friends complain about thumb pain after a long ride .

Nope.. Twist grip is fine. You ever saw 1 motorcycle in the world with a thumb trottle in 120 years?
Motorcycles have a similar lever that you actuate with the heel of your hand. Much better than using a thumb.
