- Hello and welcome back for some more chaotic sewing! This time I am attempting to recreate a designer dress by the beautiful label Agua by Agua Bendita using thrifted bedsheets, (including pattern drafting, mock ups and the real thing). This was a really challenging DIY for my ADHD brain. If you like weird crafting and sewing videos, subscribe for more! If you enjoyed the video, please do like it as it really helps the channel heart emojis if I knew how to do them

Oh man that dress turned out so cute!!! Even the mockup I was like 👀 hello!? But the yellow fabric was perfect! Isn't it great when having stash is vindicated every once in a while? Look! Some got used!
And thank you for the video! It was a very long and tiring day, and getting to unwind with this was beyond lovely!!!
I can't really put into words how much your comment means to me @amaliarose8948 ❤️ I'm so incredibly humbled that you've spent your unwind time watching my video ❤️
Thanks for being here 🥰❤️🥰
@@ashbentley Happy to be here!! 💖💖
FYI, putting elastic and drawstrings in the same channel makes a great adjustable waistband. Just make the elastic a comfortable measurement then insert a drawstring in the same channel pulling the two ends out through the buttonholes. I do it on all PJ bottoms and casual pull on shorts or pants. Comfort and adjustability in the same waistband. For children you a use buttonhole elastic. It’s even better for adjustability.
Ohhhh really good call, thank you! 😊😊
The dress was stunning, the Alf content was present, and your hilarity shone throughout - extra points for the "thinking time" foetal position, had me cracking up
Can't wait for another video!
Tom said that was his favourite bit 😂😂
The dress is super fun but the styling really takes it to the next level 😮
Oh thank you so much! Those accessories are the only ones I own 😂 I’ll have to get some more hats I think!
That yellow botanical fabric is gorgeous. What a great find.
I am so happy with it!! I have enough left to make a matching jacket... 🧐
That painting is just so ingrained into my childhood, It honestly used to scare me being on Nonas wall, but its so nice it having pride of place with you guys.
It ruins the auto-focus, but I love it ❤️
I love the chaoticness of this video. The dress is really cute and I love your hair. Reminds me of Levi's and Nanaba's from Attack on Titan and they are my fav characters
That's so kind of you to say! Thank you so much 😊🥰😊 I've never seen Attack On Titan, but my husband hums the theme song all the time 😂
Are you going to make more dresses from the pattern you made, with the adjustments you want? I think that would be awesome, but I tend toward making "uniform" pieces for my wardrobe.
I’m definitely planning on making a crop top from the pattern! I have a solution for the back tie as well that I’m keen to try. I’m not sure if I’ll make a video on it, but now I have the pattern, it would be a waste not to make more ☺️
Too cute!
Thank you! 🥰🥰
So pretty!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
You did a great job, the dress is very cute!
Thank you so much! 🥰😊🥰
Funny...I got the bug out.😂

Thank you @WinnieCPT! 🥰🥰 Yep just the new lens! Who knew that lenses were so expensive 😂
I’m not very happy ….. CZcams didn’t let me know you had put a video up ……. Your dress is absolutely gorgeous, I think either yellow ties or ties from the same fabric is what I would havae done … but I’m old ). Any way ash great tutorial lol ……. Oh could you possibly leave any subtitles you add on for just a few second longer please …. I’m old I can’t read quickly anymore xxxxx hope you and Thomas had a great Christmas and wishing you lots of love luck and prosperity for 2024xxxx
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Tina! My CZcams has been doing that a bit lately too...
I wish nothing but the very best for you and yours 🥰
Toothpaste may remove the ink stains 😊
Oh!!! Ok good to know! ❤️
😄 No, didn't make sense but that is totally oké! It was fun and the dress turned out very cute!! Thank you and Greetings 👋
hahah thank you @miekeb.5811!! 🥰🥰
The dress is super cute, but dang, your shirt!! I love the flowy, pirate vibe. Where did you get it?
Thank you so much! The pirate shirt is from an Australian label called Shona Joy! It’s a few seasons old now, so I don’t think they sell it anymore :(
@@ashbentley Darn! Thanks for the info though :) I found some pictures of it and it looks like it has some features of a few different patterns I already have, so I might try to hack something together! (or, y'know, if you need an idea for a future video, would love to see a recreation of it! ;) )
@hayleymarie6013 I wrote it in my videos ideas list right after I saw your comment!! 😁Tbh the fabric isn’t as soft as I would like (a linen blend) so I’d love to recreate it in pure linen ❤️
Could have used sheer fabric as back, and kept the shape of the blue back, and kept modesty.
Maybe for an evening dress :)
THERE ARE SPIDERS IN YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE!!??
So. Many. Spiders.
For once, for ONCE, the CZcams gods recommend a nice new CZcamsr
😊😊 Welcome!!! I'm glad you're here! ❤️
