I love that "The found effects of chipper river," was hardly acknowledged. Well played.
It's just a book set in modern times where two grown men take a casual swim in a river and are happy about it afterwards
The point is that those words are the opposite. The Lost (found) Causes (effects) of Bleak (chipper) Creek (river).
...and then you remember they have engineering degrees
Civil engineering not mechanical. Not that it's gonna make a difference
Literally I was about to comment the same thing ahahaha Its my favorite ((also to the people who say that doesn't matter don't understand the structural backbone of American higher education *meaning they've probably done egg protection exercises a thousand times in various gen ed physics classes regardless of the engineering specialty*))
The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek
The Found Efects of Chipper River
Ayy, nice.
Kazutoification I love it. I thought they would have made more of a reaction.
Rhett:”2020 is the best year that I’ve ever lived through where it was the same number repeated”
Well that didn’t age well😂
To be fair, he didn’t live through 1919 and it would be amazing if he made it to the year 2121
So his statement could still be valid 😂
The difference in their style is hilarious. Link has got a mess of a rubber band nest with tape wound around every which way.. and Rhett is over there methodically organizing packing peanuts.
This is so true, I'd be like Rhett and my boyfriend would be like Link 😂 I'm taking this as a good sign, opposites attract and all that, if their friendship is anything to go by 😁
Link is so happy that he finally got to use that Engineering Degree on GMM.
He's an industrial engineer, I don't think that's industrial engineering
@@user-qp5xh9ky4t Every engineering degree has to have, at the very minimum, advanced mechanical and thermal physics and the majority of engineering degrees also have hydro and waves physics. Without that, it's not an engineering degree, no matter which field of engineering we're talking about.
Keeping an egg from breaking is definitely part of mechanical physics and Link definitely didn't use his engineering degree for this GMM, he just threw more rubber bands at the problem.
snaplemouton Agreed. My husbands computer engineering degree required a whole bunch of the above. Thought it was strange when he was getting both his BS and MS (MS from NC State 😁), but he actually uses a bit of everything in his job.
Link: Tapes a pile of rubber bands to an egg
Link: Ooh we gettin crafty!
I love how this morphed from "Can we make our eggs survive" to "can we break our eggs"
It's May 2020. Ask Rhett how he feels about 2020 now.
Anyone else sad when they were talking about 2020 because it was before everything went downhill on roller skates with 300 pound weights being towed behind a plane
The way each of them protected their egg describes both of their personalities perfectly. Rhett does it all nice and neat, trying to be practical and make it work, meanwhile Link just throws a bunch of rubber bands on the egg and hopes for the best. Lol.
It's interesting because it's usually the other way around. Link is usually much more meticulous, and Rhett is more likely to just throw something if it's not coming together right away. I was a little bit surprised.
@@littleredhairedgirlsteph3922 ikr!! exactly what i thought when i saw the comment
Who else thought that was noodles
I was hoping it actually was because nothing wonders me anymore with these two
missed opportunity of filling the paint can with whole cracked eggs, shake it then make scrambled eggs
Clearly link hasn’t seen ppl break watermelons with rubber bands 🤣😅
Going from "Boiled for Safety" to "Clamped for Safety."
“I’ll wait if you’re doing this at home” had me laughing so hard
I love how much pleasure they get from doing this kind of thing.
Link is so pleased with himself!!! 😂😂
My favorite GMM episodes: Rhett intensely focused on task while Link talks aimlessly.
Link just lost his $100 by throwing his egg against the wall, because now there is no way to prove it didn't break in the paint shaker. They never actually checked!
I don't think he actually wanted to take a 100 dollars from Andrew, I think he just wanted to show how confident he was
Link doesn’t realize the can of worms he opens when he asked “what do you think of 2020 so far?” This was right before everything...
Link: WHO ELSE THINKS THIS WILL CRACK? ANYONE?? I DON’T THINK IT WILL
An egg is soft when first laid. And becomes hard as it “drys” the Calcium in the shell reacts with the air to dry it.
Makes sence otherwise would be painful for chicken if they layed a hard egg
I knew this was true with turtles, but somehow it never occurred to me that it should be true with all egg-laying creatures. 🤦♀️
New t-shirt. "We gotta clean that up."
When Link began putting rubber bands around the egg I started panicking. Does that boy not know the risks?
1337azaltuth I was thinking of that same thing. When he started putting the rubber bands around the egg I kept thinking of an exploding watermelon.
Link, if I taped my athletes up like that, they’d never trust me again. 🤣
This is where Link develops a gambling habit 😭
This episode hasn't aged well lol
I like how the goal was to protect eggs, and Link immediately goes for a method lots of people use to make watermelons explode...
Why bother taping rubber bands onto egg if you can just put your egg inside bag of rubber bands
@@hannahlynn804 It wasn't though. It was as half arsed as tossing it in the whole bag.
Thats what i thought 🤣 then tape outside of bag n make it tight to keep it centered
"2020, is the best year I've ever lived through."-Link, Jan 2020
Well, I think we all know how that statement aged, dont we y'all!🤣
2:31, lol how do you feel about it now Rhett?😂🤦🏻♀️
this reminds me of William Osman. please invite him to your show!!
EP idea: Will it whip cream
3:46 well, that was unexpected
@@RatKeeperDude Nevermind the bird anatomy, but can you imagine chicken shaking as fast as the paint shaker? :D
Links little skunk hair he has going on is amazing!! ✨
I thought I lost internet connection at 0:16 🤣
Rhett thinking 2020 is the best year was short lived.
Last time I was this early Main episodes came before the more
5:12 look at the difference in their work stations 😆
That furby moment was AWESOME I haven't laughed that hard in weeks 😅
I am watching this in November of 2020, and when Rhett said 2020 was the best year I laughed so hard
For self-proclaimed good ole boys from the south, you sure have a lot to learn about how hens work...
I guess that's what happens when you work with tobacco and crawlspaces instead of animals.
I feel like I will never look at a packing peanut again without thinking of alternate universe Link.
Rhett jinxed 2020 when he said it was the best year... IN JANUARY!!!!!!!!!!!
Trust Link to worry to clean up the egg at the end 😂
Link is cracking me up 😂 Just imaging him in engineering school, the things he probably came up with. Since he’s over there taping a rubber band nest to an egg 😂 This is why I love this show, this is why I love these guys 😂
Put anything in Link's hands, and let him speak = GOLD
"how ya feeling about 2020 so far rhett?" rhett's answer did not age very well lol
Missed yall. Had to catch this early as possible
I’ll wait if you’re also doing this at home 😂
I'm amazed that they managed to work around the martini glasses. I was waiting for one of them to catch an elbow with all their arm movements
Rhett mentioning the 2020-thing reminded me of something my dad told me when i was younger; i think it was back in 2002, most likely in february, when he told me that you could say the year, month, day, and time, backward and it was the same both ways
2002-02-20, 20:02
i think that must have been the time
and we can't do that again, cuz even in 3003, unless we've evolved another extra couple of hours, we can't have 30:03
admittedly i don't remember if he included seconds too or not,
1337azaltuth that day was my birthday (not my actual birth day) and I felt so cool telling my classmates that exact thing in 2002 😊
2020-02-20,02:02 is pretty close to that. 2020-12-21, 02:02, 2020-11-11,02:02, 2020-10-10...9-9 lol. Just thought of all of these. So we can make that special time in about a month lol
2112-12-21, 21:12 will also work, but i think that's the last one with this particular pattern :(
yas loved this gmmore! so laid back n chill
i love this this lol i live for this i love you rhett and link and the crew!
Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you... Engineers!!!
Thank you for finally addressing links reference to Richard Pryor 👏
I realized I hadn’t “rung that bell” !!! Now I can stay up to date thank you!!
Lol watching this one a year later! 2020 was not the best year and def do not want to repeat it!
Oh the irony of the comment 2020 is the best year
Good morning y’all 🌸
"How do you feel about 2020 so far...."
Oh boy. Rhett and Link from Jan 2020 are so innocent/adorable right there 😂
Merry Easter!
Today’s gmmore is more entertaining than the main video lol
This was fun to watch
2:34 They have no idea what's coming...
Feel like this should be a mythical moms ep. Lol. Also looking forward to another Shando ep.
That voicemail is amazing.
Great episode👍
I enjoyed this.
Excuse me hello!!!! Good Mythical Morning! ❤️
Love the new mugs!
Rhett: 2020 is the best year that i've lived through
oh hunny, you've got a big storm coming
11:50 when your little sibling makes a mess and your mom is about to get home
Haha Rhett blows his nose ! How do you feel about 2020 so far?? Boy if they only knew back then what we know now
They should have had each GMM member chose a way to protect the egg and seen whose won.
let the show be more like more please
i love thids channel
Yeah. Uploaded 7 seconds ago and I’m already here. Neven been this early
"2020 is the best year.." LOLOLOLOL That didn't age well. Same with "we want everybody to be exposed.." LOLOL
this was interesting, do it again sometime.
Mannnnn we gotta clean that up. Priceless
I literally dreamed this episode. Spooky.
"This is foolproof!" yes but is it Link proof
Link is really flexing on his knowledge about hen vaginas
I love this
Guess Link hasnt seen the challenge with the watermelon and rubber bands?!...thats all I kept thinking about. 😆
Not sure why Link didn't just put the egg in the bag of rubber bands...
One of the rare times when the after show is more interesting than the main episode.. Just my opinion AKA subjective
‘the best year ive ever lived through’ 💀
Rhett: "2020 is the best year that I've every lived through..." I heard that first part and was like, welp - this hasn't aged well! LOL
I’m in sports med and I can definitely say that that’s what we do in class
When link said “how do you feel about 2020” and rhett responded w something positive i had to check the date just to be sure it was before all the chaos 😂
I did too, 4 years later 😪
Same 😂😂😂 how weird how things are post “epidemic” now lol
