Folk Songs of Ladakh

Folk songs keep the people connected to their past and their cultural heritage. We need to remember our past and keep it alive because our past provides the right direction to our future. Don’t ever let folk die because if the history dies, future becomes meaningless and you lose your aim. Our cultural heritage is what gives us an identity. Without an identity, we are known as no one. Himalayan Cultural Heritage Foundation (HCHF) promotes the rich folk tradition of Ladakh.
