Klaus and Katherine + Hope au || Sad, Beautiful, Tragic

The story starts in the present when Katherine is attempting suicide. Klaus saves her and lectures her, but his mood changes when she admits she is dying. A flashback takes them back to 1492 when they first met. They quickly fell into a passionate, sexual relationship. Unfortunately, when she finds out he is a vampire, she runs away from him and accidently turns herself. Five hundred years later, the two meet in a bar. They decide to try at a relationship. They bicker a lot, but still love each other.After a fight with Elena, Katherine becomes human. This doesn't change her relationship with Klaus. Soon after getting the cure, Katherine becomes pregnant. She moves to New Orleans with Klaus and his family and eventually gives birth to their baby girl. The witches interfere, but the with the Mikaelson family involved, they don't keep her for long. When Hope is 2, Dahlia hunts her down, but again, her parents protect her. Over seven years of raising their child together, Katherine finds out she is dying of old age after she was drained of all her blood by Silas. Her and Klaus argue about telling their daughter, but she overhears. In the end, Hope and Klaus are by Katherine's side as her life ends.
