I really loved Gabe character! I really hope/can't wait for him to rescue us or just appear again! I feel betrayed though, I didn't trust Ricardo one bit (kind of expecting him to be even more sinister in the future) but Valencia seemed so genuine. I'm now completely hooked on this new series. I love the connection that one of the other commenters made about the music from the party being the music playing from loud neighbors above Dimi's apartments (my reaction was OMG IS THERE A CONNECTION? IS THIS IT?!?!?!?!?!). Also pleasantly surprised that you sort of made a BDSM roleplay even though you said you wouldn't in your Q&A video :) Absolutely love your content!

In my case, sad but true; and nobody’s fault but my own, so thanks for the opportunity at redemption through the sacrifice of my “essence.” I hope my soul feels a lot lighter after this!
The existential note you end this on is really the monochromatic gold icing atop the ol’ blood cake 🎂 Living through experiences that feel overwhelming and beyond our control can elicit the inner questioning of ourselves and our judgment when we’re continually drawn into these mad scenarios, hanging out with lunatics and blood sucking psychopaths, while Hugo taps right into that with surprising empathy, feeling the same thing vicariously through us, I guess, the clever little sociopath, and his reply to that is unsettling, haunting and reminds me of the unsatisfying endings to existential novels I’ve read that only serve to reinforce my existential dread.
Hugo here at least provides us with a surprisingly rational explanation for why this is happening to us yet again: “well, my dear, why not?”
It’s hard to argue with our bondage bunny tormentor with lines like that and delivered with such sinister seduction, I feel, along with all the tingles, like I might be losing my mind, or falling in love with him.
