Your such a sweet person and it's fun for me cause it's a window into your life... living in a part of the country, and learning how life is in Michigan by the lake. I was born in Massachusetts and moved to philadelphia pa when I was almost 12. So it's been 55 years in Philadelphia. But I love learning about nice towns and life in other parts of the country. We have the same weather as you in midwestern Ontario, muggy. Also about kidney stone, it is the same here, they do nothing unless in severe pain, same with gallstones, they don’t do anything unless it becomes a chronic problem. Ticking time bomb os a perfect way of pitting it.
Breakfast for dinner…YES!!😋 That must have been scary having your tongue swell like that for no apparent reason. And just on the one side. Thankfully, the swelling went down and you are A-ok! Would be nice to know why it happened though. Strawberry Sourdough muffins sound delicious. Does Joanne make them or does she just pick them up for you from a shop near her? Your short haircut suits you so well and your hair stylist always does a great job. It means a lot having the same person look after your hair for so many years. Dreary, rainy Saturday here but I believe the weather will improve just in time to celebrate Canada Day on Monday! I have thyroid disease it make my hair break off easy and when it grows out and I brush it my hair just snaps off and leaving it short keeps it from losing so much hair. I went through my day of long hair and different colors. Now just wanting to keep it.
I have spent the last 4 months getting a clean bill of health done so I could get the cataract surgery done the other day. I can see better and they say I have 2025 in the left eye and 2024 vision in the right eye so guess I am doing good. I have to use eye drops for awhile but that is annoying but necessary I guess. The first thing I had done was blood transfusion then ultra sound then colonoscopy done. It was all not pleasant. But I am glad it is over except they have to check my eyes and see how the drops are going. I am tired now sometimes but I have to catch up on myself. My cats was glad when I got back home. I think they missed me. That blood transfusion and colonoscopy was the worse things. I have to get thyroid tested every 3 months according to my doctor. They said the anemia started everything. That was the worse too. My husband took me to the ER and told me I should go see them. I get a week and a half vacation because of the 4th of July. I am so glad. Your cooking sure looks good. I am finally getting my appetite back. Anyway that is what I have been doing. It was like climbing a ladder. It seems one thing leads to another. But it should be over sometime this year I hope. Say hi to your kitty. We have quite a few that moved in with us too and in the garage. They use the garage and we park outside. ha ha. I was eating so I don't know how the anemia started but maybe I wasn't eating enough I really don't know. Every time I wanted to go out I started feeling weak and fast heart rate. The doctors said that is one of the symptoms. So be careful if you feel like that sometime.
I remember her cutting your hair 14 years ago that’s so nice you still see that same hairdresser. 😊 that was scary about your tongue!!! Glad it went back to normal quickly. You did sound funny 😄
Ha Ha about the biscuits cans . Have you seen the joke where a lady was in her car after buying groceries and a biscuit can exploded and hit her in the head . She felt the back of her head and apparently one of the biscuits stuck in her hair . So she sat there convinced someone shot her and her brains were sticking out . Hallerious
The outdoor kitties seem to love your house. If the ants get into the bowl on the ground, it's best to put the bowl on the table. I developed nerve pain on the right side of my tongue after a dental procedure a few years ago. Long story short, I have learned to live with it, and my tongue occasionally swells up. I notice it more when it's really hot outside. I think the heat affects it.
How long do you bake potatoes in microwave ? Oh i have waken up with swollen tongue. I always drink liquid benadryl right away, but that makes me sleepy. Also certain foods can cause it. Keep an epipen around for breathing emergencies.😮 my lips used to swell also. So annoying.
I usually put potatoes in a covered bowl for about 5 minutes and give a test with a knife. Usually takes 8 min to get them just right. Depends on the size of the potatoes. If I am doing them to cut up for fried potatoes I won’t cook them quite as done as I would if I was eating as a baked potato.
@@dreamer72fem Have an ANA test . If it’s positive it means you have some kind of autoimmune disease. I have a positive ANA and no one has determined what autoimmune disease I have yet for 4 years now .

Joann makes them…she bakes and sells sourdough bread and muffins. First time we tried them…really good.

Your poor tongue! Iam on meds that cause tongue/mouth sores, so my tongue will hurt and swell up because of the sores. Glad yours was ok!
I had an issue with my uvula swelling up. It was an issue with a blood pressure medication I was taking. Scary when those things happen.

Nope…I hadn’t eaten anything since the day before.
Has this happened to you before. Do you have sjogrens disease or lupus . They both cause inflammation in the mouth.
I have been tested for lupus and was negative….never heard of sjogrens so put it on my doctors list to ask about.
