"Wanderlust" exists in English, meaning more a 'desire to travel,' often involving restlesness. A more modern American term is "happy feet."
Snarky User This in German would be ‚Fernweh‘. Wanderlust is more the desire of hiking as Hans correctly said.

Hans, it is amazing what was hiding just below the surface of the dozer tracks ! Those coins would have been paved over, and buried forever if you hadn't found them. Nice ring too ! Always interesting. Thanks Hans ! Peace.

Great job Hans and very smart hitting those construction sites before they are lost! Just imagine what lies deeper in those mounds. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.....
No offense intended... you need to get out of that fantasy world your living in. Those objects being "lost" by their original owners is the reason Hans CAN find them. That dirt will be moved somewhere else, as part pf a landfill or soil conservation project. A detectorist later on will think he has found an unknown settlement site, because of the concentration of finds that he comes across. lol That's life my friend, one man's trash is another mans treasure
unfortunately I haven't got the time to search more properly. these heaps yield really significant artifacts as you will learn in a future video. thank you for watching!
that's true unless the earth doesn't end up in deep pits. the true loss is the archaeological feature. another problem is the possible misinterpretations of future investigations in the area of the landfill. I hope such things are being documented in order to prevent these confusions. the finds itself without the scientific feature are only lost until they're lost.

I would be frustrated too not being able to get to the heart of the spoil soil heaps but you have found some lovely items from the top soil Hans. The birdsong kept you company while working hard and sounded lovely. Take care my friend, good luck and happy hunting Mary-Ellen UK

Hi Hans! Great idea to detect these spoil heaps... it’s about the only good thing to come out of new developments taking up the green space around the country’s we live in! The dues is such a fantastic machine and I am glad to own one also! Would love the opportunity one day to detect in Germany or even just to go back to Germany one day would be nice as I’ve only visited once when I was in high school. Glad the weather is good for you. We have had a few days of solid rain here in the UK. But it won’t stop me detecting! Thanks for sharing this mate! Marc.

I'm sad about his construction as it was a beautiful green spot and an interesting field in terms of detecting too. I try to make the best out of it. detecting in germany during a holiday is almost impossible due to our strict laws. but let me know when you are in frankfurt .. we can spread some beer- bottle caps for the next gerneration of detectorists :D

I would rather see the place remaining in it's old condition too. It hurts me to see valuable natural and agricultural ground disappear under concrete. the modern way of building in germany nowadays is remarkably ugly too.
