Does this mean you have to kill the ones you've already killed before? And is there a way to track the ones you've killed or do you just have to mark it down on your own?
If you encounter a boss that you already defeated, it will say "★ Defeated" right next to its name

He means you have to defeat Ganon before you can collect any medals. The game doesn't necessarily continue, but you can continue to play it and do things like get medals, but the main story is done.

When I first had my encounter when a Molduga whapped me with his tail, after he hit me I was like:

Oh okay. I never thought bomb can also be used in this battle. In my first battle i just ride my hired sand seal and shoot arrows at him.

I love battling the moldugas. Best battle theme and action for me in BOTW and it's got a cool design. I took a really cool picture of it face on for my Hyrule Compendium.

To be fair they respawn again after the blood moon like every enemy in the game(except the versions of Ganon).

Fun Fact: The four platforms around molduga 1 have unlit torches. Light them, and a shrine will appear.
I like Moldugas. They are beautiful, and, despite being dangerous, they just eat anything they find, which means they aren’t evil.
I wonder why the Blood Moon revives them, though.
I love this boss. They really should of added grass and snow variants, just like the Talus

It looks nothing like a Graboid. But it is a similar scenario. Stay on rocks/pillars, lure with bombs.
There was a similar mission in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic also

Now im really confused. First off the east gerudo ruins looks like arbiters grounds. Then there was the stone monument in Necluda that looked like the mirror of twilight.. now the actual arbiters grounds is actually in the game? In the middle of the desert

No, the stone monument in necluda has absolutely nothing to do with the mirror of twilight. I'm kind of annoyed that there are a ton of people right now who think it is... when the writing on the tablet is literally just instructions for how to awaken a nearby shrine

yeah yeah Im not annoyed at the people who are confused per se, but more so annoyed at the people who say they found the mirror of twilight that have yet to post any actual footage of it. I've been scouring the desert, and I've been through the arbiters grounds, and there's no mirror there... but I've heard that the mirror is somewhere in the game. this is annoying.

That is not a piece of the mirror of twilight. I have been there. Those are not the pieces of the mirror of twilight... and the mirror of twilight doesn't have PIECES anymore, it was completely shattered.
That thing you are referring to is something else, and the writing on it only details how to unlock a nearby shrine.
Also, they are not scattered throughout the world. They are sitting in various parts along the southern coastline. You have to take pictures of them and then a kid reads them for you.

When I encountered this beast I didn’t know where it is so I hustled kept running with my level 3 soldier armor and the molduga pounced me from the ground with max 10 hearts dang those chomps are lethal

FORMINCRAFTIA I tried everything I could think of. died 3 or 4 times and abandoned him. then I found this video. the bombs are so small when compared to it. who would think the bomb would drive this guy into the air and stun him? against normal enemies a bomb has terrible damage.
mysteryshadow5 m Most of the Molduga's prey is rsther small compared to it- mainly consisting of normal sized monsters.
Besides that the bomb has a lot of force, just not damage- Every time you throw it at the regular enemies, although it does basically no damage (the Moldugas barely take any damage as well and its blowing up from inside of their mouth!) It does send them flying as a ragdoll. Same for the Molduga, wherr it pushes it hard enough that it instead falls on its side, stunned, letting you use a real weapon for real damage.
Another thing you can do to one is to lure it into an explosive barrel- if it runs over one, while it won't be stunned, it'll move at half its speed half way put of the sand and will not be able to directly attack and just flail (so you can just shoot arrows at it). But after a little while it'll stop and burrow underground again.
Doesn't anyone feel they could be oversized mutated Sand Seals? Plus they make kinda similar noises when they detect vibrations.
My sisters first experience with the molduga :
So we were trying to find the great fairy spring in the dragons exile when we saw a head pop out of the ground
My sis asked me what the hell it was and I was like I think that’s the big snake thing so we decided to go to it, it hit us once and got my sis to one heart so we ran
On our shield and found one again. We ofc ran for our lives and happily survived and found the fountain.
( it was a blood moon too.)

In the Toruma Dunes, lighting the four torches will cause a shrine to appear.
For killing i use a bomb (like here) but then a 5x lynel bow, bomb arrows and the barbarian armor.
Those lizals are savage tho
How are you doing that spin attack? When I try it, it doesn't seem to work until the stamina gauge is fully charged.

During the second Molduga battle in this video, I noticed Link taking huge damage from arrow attacks, and then realized he was wearing the Gerudo vai gear, which has a combined defense score of just 3. Forgot to change between stops to Gerudo Town?
Using a great thunder blade with urbosa’s fury makes this very scary to me

It's "kinda" random from my experience, always weapons, and they seem to scale with how strong you are, and what weapons you've found. Killing the Molduga's is a really easy way to earn rupees, so i've done it a bunch.
I think their are 5 moldugas the fifth one is at the east barrens and you the molding and i think drops royal gear
