This year ill be traveling all over the state of Texas to find the best chicken fried steak in Texas
This week i am exploring north /hill country area of Texas

Simple review:
Steak was absolutely HUGE
The thickness of the steak was perfect,not to thin and not to thick
Nice thin crispy perfectly light golden brown breading on steak (very very flavorful)
Very light breading because its actually cooked on the grill and not deep fried
Gravy was perfect( excellent taste and consistency) definitely homemade
Definitely hand breaded and wasn’t frozen
The size and portion was great size for lunch(i ordered the large) and had enough left over for two more meals
The price was 22.00 and was an awesome deal that included mashed potatoes,green beans and texas toast
EXTRA POINTS:
Loved the size and atmosphere of this place, kind,efficient and friendly
The place is actual very inviting and homey,very packed and loud(you cam tell its regular customers that eat here) the regular small town feel
I would go back to try other things on the menu,(THE BREAKFAST I DEFINITELY MUST TRY(the large hamburger is said to be amazing here)
