In this video I take on Pokemon Violet using only Paldean wooper. Wooper is an incredibly weak Pokemon so beating Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with its intense battles using just one Wooper is an hardcore challenge.

If you terrastilize you lose both typings and get the type of the crystal to replace the previous types so “trulewoodo” would be pure grass not rock grass
You do retain stab on the original types though

By the way, Hassel being moved to tears of pride when you beat him makes more sense if you attend the classes at Naranja/Uva academy, and do the side-quests with the teachers. You bond with the teachers, learn more about them and help them with their issues as they start to trust you. For Hassel, you give him the inspiration and courage to refuse to return home and continue teaching at school.
My first shiny was a Quagsire in Diamond's Great Marsh. It's still around. Wooper has a special place on all of my teams.

If you terastilize, you only have one type, which is your tera type. Your tera type isnt added on to your original type.
This is too simplified. Defensively, you only have your tera type, but offensively you keep your original typing in addition to your tera type. So if Chi-Yu terastallizes into fairy type, it will only be weak to steel and poison like any other fairy type, but offensively, it still gets the 1.5x STAB boost on dark and fire type moves in addition to fairy type moves.

@@Quinnjamin I feel that. There are two opportunities I know of for x50 shard gifts - Rock from Tyme, and Dragon from Hassel, when you max their relationship stats.
