    Great video, absolutely nothing wrong with sone critical thinking when doing this stuff. After watching, I can definitely see where we can make some improvements with items that rattle or make noise, or even filling gaps or holes.. while I can’t control what happens when I’m not there, it doesn’t hurt to have multiple views or looks at things that are presented as evidence. I very much appreciate your approach.. you are welcome back any time my friend!

    just saw this today, great video. The dowsing rods surprised me because I live in South Carolina and the company that dug the ground of our house for fiber optic line USED dowsing rods to mark water and electric. No joke, I laughed at him. Tell you what though, they were right on the money.

      Yeah I’m sorry. I’m not a fussy person for homes but damn that house simply needs a wrecking ball. That’s the only hope. Structure is gone. Wiring is out code. HVAC is nonexistent plumbing looks sketchy and I swear I hear leaking water. Foundation is sad. Hahha. Spend more to fix that dump into a mostly unusable configuration in this age and you still have a tiny poor configured space.

      Someone I know woke up to see an Indian man complete with turban, stood smiling at her from the foot of her bed! He was solid looking then just vanished. I've seen a cat spirit sat on my shoulder! Someone else I knew saw her dead brothers spirit stood in her bedroom, a year or so after he died in a Japanese prisoner of war camp in Ww2. She screamed and he vanished, he was smiling at her, she said with hindsight she wishes she had spoken to him.

    I'm Native American, raised on a Reservation with traditional spirituality and ceremony, I AM a believer in spirit, ..but a Nonbeliever in most ghost hunters, the ridiculousness I see on TV and on CZcams has made me a pretty jaded skeptic on ghost hunting and those who oooohhhh and awe over the silliness of their video's. As a non believer? could you do me a favor? Tell them to stop using the burial grounds of my ancestors as a blame for a bunch of white people ghosts running around haunting everything!!! I mean geez its such a stereo type lol..
    I could tell by his description of the dress, vague as it was, farm women were of lower means and their dresses were pretty simple, usually of calico a cheap material, because they had chores, and those big fancy Victorian gowns with lace and fancy were wore by city women, they just wouldn't have worked for farm life or money.

    Great video as always, you explain things well and there are far too many supposed “ghost hunters” out there producing absolutely fake videos, you could almost equate the reactions of such a large group of “ghost hunters” as mass hysteria, that contagious effect that takes in an entire crowd of people, feeding off of one another’s fears or as in this case one another’s very miss guided beliefs.

As someone who lives in Australia,it's impossible to say how true most of the hauntings in USA are...or even the hauntings in Australia for that matter. I'd like to believe in ghosts, and get that delicious scare thrill, but if there are ghosts out there, I'm sure they have better things to do than to keep coming night after night for the gratification of strangers. And doesn't every haunted house have a lady in white?or a black shadow man figure?

  • @adruiddrummer8841
    @adruiddrummer8841 Před rokem +2

    On the topic of not calling things out in the moment:
    If the IRS told a crooked company that they'd be auditing this year's financials next year the odds are very good that said company would have no crooked dealings for the IRS to find.
    If a First Amendment auditor tells government officials up front that they're looking for constitutional right violations, those government officials are likely to NOT violate the auditor's rights while they're recording or not interact with them at all.
    Likewise, if Kenny had told everyone that he was a skeptic and would be looking for evidence of fraud, the seance guy may not have even had the seance, may have come up with a reason why seaces don't work in the presence of skeptics, or it might have been as uneventful as the dowser in the basement.
    Announcing your intentions in advance can weaken the integrity of the investigation. Nobody wants to act bad when they know they're being watched for bad behavior.
    I'm fully in support of blending in in the moment.

    Good stuff. Quick thought on idiomatic movement, if I got that right. My family is extremely skeptical, my dad loves your magazine, but my sister and I use the ouija board a lot because the results are so dramatic. Quick, unexpected answers. The idea that our subconscious is working cooperatively in such a visual way is still very cool and exciting. If you’ve ever had that experience, you start to feel a “pull “ and really don’t feel like you aren’t moving it but take your fingers off for a second, either one of you, and it stops moving. The human mind is extraordinary.

I was there when the property was empty, after the Dandy family moved out. I really hadn't heard detailed stories, only that it was haunted. Excellent video! We need to separate the myth from reality. The interesting thing is I have had many paranormal events in my life. I did not need any tech to experience it. Some of the events I experienced were easily debunked while others still keep me guessing. It’s good to have some logic and reason applied to ghost hunting. Having a skeptic with a lot of knowledge on both sides of the fence is very valuable to the paranormal and teams. I would definitely investigate with you.
    On another note. I have been to many locations and I’m lucky if I get a sound of some sort that I cannot explain but not saying it’s paranormal. As I looked through countless CZcams videos specifically CZcamsrs who have gone to the same places I have, it is a complete mindfuck how they can go to the same locations and all hell breaks loose but when I go it is very boring and 99.9% of the time nothing happens.
    Paranormal is supposed to be a very rare phenomenon however it seems to be a very common normal phenomena.. SMH.

    RE: radio/spirit box: I think one piece your remarks at around 34:00 minutes fail to consider is that most investigators aren’t suggesting ghosts are manipulating radio stations or creating new words themselves. I think the (still unproven) idea is that spirits can simply manipulate pre-existing words already coming through the radio waves. I also think the news station comparison could be improved because the average person isn’t cycling through multiple news stations at high speed.

    I BELIEVE in ghosts because I have had my own experiences but I am a logic thinker NOT every SUPPOSEDLY haunted house has someone unseen walking about. Any ghost Hunter SHOULD realise that houses cool down at night and it’s that cooling down that is making the CREEPY sounds. My advice is if you’re going to old houses, DON’T jump to the conclusion that you hear a spirit.

Especially near and in the cities, the radio programm over the radio programm, wifi signals and another sources of possible radio signal which can sound like a human's voice. The pro tip for ghost hunters, sit somewhere in the control room of the big radio tower, that one which is full of vires, control panels and etc and start searching for the ghost voice and oh god, here will be more clear and even more voices than if you could catch in your house.

    20:40 just a clarification: ghost hunters should not be using EMF as a tool to find strongest EM fields as per the game phasmophobia, for instance. Instead, one should look for an unexplained fluctuation of EMF measurements, such as remaining in a spot with none, or relatively low levels of EMF measurements, and observing an uncalled for and temporary spike or series of spikes. You don't want to walk around with an EMF and chase the electrical sources of emissions.
    ...and while I'm at it
    6:30 Usually the opposite is true: when one changes things in the house, especially as significantly as renovating, that's when activity increases, or appears for the first time if it never happened before.

  • @BlackBlaze222
    @BlackBlaze222 Před 2 lety

    I think maybe you have a misunderstanding of how they are trying to use the spirit box and why they wouldn't want to use it within a Faraday box. The idea from what I have come to understand is the ghost is supposed to manipulate the radio signals so that it comes through using the snipits of voice from these radio broadcasts. So you hear someone say count with me one, two, then you hear a two from the radio and it goes back to gibberish. The spirit box is the biggest proof in human existence that confirmstion bias is real and it can be a serious problem. These people want to hear something count along so any strong signal that comes through the chaos noise will confirm what they are looking for and the brain will make it sound like what they want because the human mind likes to fill in the blanks to make sense of the world even when it doesn't fit. P.s. awesome video, it was really fun to watch.

    You HAVE TO be a skeptic walking into haunted place. If your proving existence. Otherwise it's hoaky....

    The basement is a mess! Why don't people tidy. Haunted? pffft lol Were they having a party or an investigation! Way too many people present. Great video. As a nurse, I am familiar with anatomy, you can see tension in his upper arm and elbow. Clearly faked.

    I wish that one day a real spirit/entity/ghost or what have you. Comes through on a "spiritbox" and tells the "ghosthunters" to "Bugger Off"

    • @OlgaRykov
      @OlgaRykov Před rokem +2

      that's what spirits usually do, actually, if they do come through a spiritbox. Exactly that: they tell the ghosthunters to "get out" or "leave"

    I should think that the 'entities' if any would have had it up to their back teeth with the all the questions. On the other hand It's great that the house is being maintained.
    I don't not believe in ghosts or apparitions, but, just in case, people should be civil to them. How would a living person feel if they were asked intimate questions by people they don't know, or want to know at all hours of the day and night?

  • @TomSealey
    @TomSealey Před 3 měsíci

    I think, at least from the footage you shared, your debunking of the table moving is flawed. You provided no observation of how the hands of the other individuals were moving, and you did not conduct a physical test of your own to determine if the subtle hand movements you caught could move the table in the manner it was being moved. Regardless, your theory that the seance leader was moving the table seems to be the most likely explanation by far.

  • @howellbyrd3819
    @howellbyrd3819 Před rokem

    I think there was a bit of teamwork going on with the table movement. If you check the guy with the red watch face beside the one doing all the talking, he is pressing down very hard and has the same motion as the "leader." When zoomed out, no one else has the same skin movement or pressure, along with predicting the next directional movement. Even better is the girl's had, on the other side of the speaker shows none of these tendencies. If coordinated, two is better than one for effect and strength of movement. Along with, easy deniability. But, who knows, maybe the spirit was moving through him and it is a coincidence.

    I do believe in ghosts and in everything having energy. I’m extremely skeptical of most ghost hunters and most equipment used in hunting. It is possible that hunters are trying to prove experiences that they have had but can’t prove to others. I think some are just in it for the attention or camaraderie. I have had paranormal experiences myself, but I can’t prove it. How do you prove to someone what you experienced? Luckily one experience was validated by my ex husband, but that doesn’t mean anyone has to believe that he didn’t tell me things before hand. But both he and I know that it was a spontaneous experience that I shared with him and he validated what I had seen. Was it coincidence? I don’t think so. So I’m still a skeptic of others, but I know what I have myself experienced. And I’m not running a you tube channel or claiming to be psychic or something. I’ve just had some interesting experiences.

    I despise the SB7 spirit box. You are exactly right. It's radio stations! You may get a quick word or two during the scanning. It's loud, noisy, and if you are recording, any EVP or other allegedly paranormal noise is completely missed because of the overpowering TSHHH TSSSHH TSSSHH TSSSSH of the "broken radio". I would not like an investigation like this. Too many people, and you are sort of obligated to participate in nonsense like hypnotism and seances. My wife and I use basic stuff. Camera, video, audio, REM-POD. Nothing fancy and nothing hokey.

    I'm real tired of the "Victorian woman" ghost sightings. People always say Victorian, but can't describe it beyond long dress, hair pulled back. Usually white dress. I'll believe em when they describe the corset silhouette, hoops or bustle skirt, hair style. Because Victorian era styles are very specific. White dress and hair back doesn't cut it.
