Yes, I liked ur way of teaching as you told about use of carbon brush . I come to know about negative coefficient of temparature. As carbon brush grows hot it's resistance grows low. 😊

The main reason for the use of carbon brushes is that it is easy and low replacement costs Other reasons are secondary. You had listed the first reason it bears High temperature is not the main reason to use carbon brush. Moreover replacement of the commutator is difficult and costly.

One more most important point of carbon is missed out that is
" Carbon do not create Spark"
If u replace carbon with any metal possibility of continuous spark resulting in burning out of commutator.
U missed out this bro!

किसी भी कार ट्रक जीप बस वगैरा की सटारटिंग मोटर यानी सैल्फ मोटर में ये काले कार्बन नहीं होते. इनमें कौपर मिक्स कार्बन होते हैं और दो नहीं चार कार्बन होते हैं
