We've been to Kakslauttanen twice a few years ago. 2017 and 2018. First trip was in October 2017. Although the Northern Lights could be seen during this month, we had gone during the Laplands first snow storm of the year and didn't get to see the Northern Lights so we decided to head back in March 2018 and were fortunate to see the Northern Lights every night we stayed at the resort. Definitely an amazing experience; hence why I'm watching YT videos on the resort right now lmfao. Kelo Glass Igloo is the way to go. A bit more pricey but worth it. Back when we went they didn't have the Aurora alarm or WiFi in the rooms; was definitely a bit more tricky as we had to stay up all night and even walk around the resort to be able to find the Northern Lights.
