Can Polearms Only get 36 stars against its GREATEST ENEMY?

- The only enemy that prevented me from clearing Abyss on Polearms Only (since we started being able to 36 star) was the Inquistitive Iniqizillious Baptist of Fire, Ice, and Floopydoops. So today we get revenge.

I hate this abyss because the inquitious Baptist is in it to many elements to break its shields
I used Jean, Nahida, Bennett and Xingqui to beat him. It was still close but still managed with 5 seconds left.
Try a variation of that team see if it works.
Funny is that is the easy one, the electro lector is painful
i just used hyperbloom lmao, dendro broke the electro and shield, hydro broke the pyro shield and i broke the cryo shield with kuki pretty easily and then it just got shredded
You just need Pyro and Hydro and u will be okay, you can break the electro shield with pyro so you don´t need to use a dendro or a cryo if u don´t want to
Just bring any vape team, hydro for pyro shield, pyro for cryo shield and then both elements work for electro

My C1 Chevreuse is level 70 with lvl1 artifacts and still she is way too good. Takes me back when I used to play overload with Xiangling and Lisa on Mondstadt Hilichurl camps.

This was one of my fav abyss cycles apart from 12-2-2 I REALLY hate the energy drain thing, combine that with a team that relies on fav and it's hell.
Still one of my most retried abyss (60) because there're many teams that are fun to use and 12-1-1 is a fun speedrun chamber.
yeah this abyss cycle is so hard. I could only get 34 stars :(

Yeah, I said as much that it wasnt ideal in the beginning iirc. I was using it because of its elemental coverage. In the end I showed it getting through the Baptist easily, even with mistakes in play.
So I wanted to try using one team all the way through. What I didnt realize at the start was that I could just use Cyno/Raiden together with Chev to deal with the shield too. The moment I had that idea was when fighting the baptist with Raiden lol.
Regardless, I did show clips of the second team performing quite well, its just weirdly variable in a way that is hard to adapt to. I think there is potential for a dynamic of using Raiden when Yuegui is out, then using Candace for vaping Arle. Still non ideal, but there are times where the elemental coverage is necessary (I thought this time would be one of them)
For me I used lyney first half and father second half and got 36 star chamber three is definitely hard😭
Also, I didn't see much burning on the enemies to justify using the Burning set. Does it really work on Arle? I'd like to try on other character, honestly, because it seems a really interesting kit that allows different ways to play.
Yeah the team this video is weird with what reactions are happening when that it’s questionable. On a normal account it can definitely work with Arle in burgeon teams though. The only problem is that if you are playing Burgeon Arle, you are likely taking self damage, therefore MH is the best set for her lol. So the burning set in my mind is best for a crit dps that is doing off field damage in a burgeon team, since MH doesnt work off field. With that said, the burning set could still be used on Arle in a burgeon team paired with a shielder instead (so no self damage enabling MH). Eg Zhongli/Arle/Nahida/Hydro. Ive also tried Diona/Nahida/Yelan/Arle which sounds wack but Arle actually occasionally gets melts (and C6 Diona gives a big EM buff), where the set may also make sense

Why didn't you use cyno in place of Raiden? You could just swap to him to trigger overload when necessary and keep thoma for shielding.
Probably couldve but I didnt really need the shielding, so a bit of off field electro triggering overloads was better as far as dmg goes, and trying to get through the pyro shield faster (I wasnt confident Cyno alone would be enough, but it was)
Solina u should run arlecchino yunjin mika and rosaria trust me the atk soeed for mika and yunjin bouta pop off with melt

the Baptist is easy the electro abyss lector gives me skill issue and i didn't even get 2 star on 12-2 floor😢
use bennett. burst and then spam his skill. you can even put him on 4pc thundering fury
Yeah if you have the element coverage for the baptist that ones definitely a challenge. You either need lots of pyro, or lots of Dendro. So Nahida/XL is probably my default recommendation for it
Isn't dendro a weak element against electro shield tho? I feel like anemo does like almost same. Cryo and pyro works way better and xianling not having icd works wonders. Rosaria doesn't have icd as well. You can try those characters to get past through it easily.
What hurts me is that u have engulfing lighting and the catch yet raiden doesn’t use it😢

Yeah the team is weird with uptime on any given reaction since I wasnt bursting with Yaoyao. It may actually work better with Thoma on full EM and maaaybe Raiden on the burning set I guess? Dunno still, its not exactly optimal on polearms only lol

Just a Noblesse ER/HP/Crit build I think
Its funny i expected the iniquitous battyfish to be the hardest part for me but he was the easiest
Yeah it really just depends on how hard it is for a team to get through his shield and still do damage afterwards
I have more problem with the lector because of how annoying their attacks are
Yeah they can be quite annoying especially with a burst reliant team. But 3 pyro units on polearms only didnt really have an issue for me
How are you running Xiangling without Bennett…?
I think he's using fav. lance on both Zhongli and Shenhe + Xiangling is using engulfing lightning so energy isn't a problem
Just gotta have a bunch of ER
She just needs a lot of ER. Other than that, Engulfing Lightning really helps her. Theres a reason I call it her signature weapon lol. It allows her to be built with a ton of ER on emblem while still having a good amount of atk, even without Bennett. Other than that, I just need to make sure I trigger Fav on Zhongli/Shenhe, which is why I you may see me doing NAs on them in the downtime between Shenhes skill for example. Depending on if Guoba is hitting enemies and generating particles that may not be necessary, but I do so anyways to make sure her burst is always back

Because I wanted to be able to say I did it without Arle constellations first. Partially as proof that they arent necessary, even for a challenging abyss cycle like this one, and partially for anyone in the future that may say the only reason I can clear content is because of Arle constellations. But if need be I will just try to clear abyss cycles without Arle too
