    Once again, another amazing video Emmanuel. Nice to get these things set up in Shopify well in advance before the apocalypse when it stops
    😆

      Thank you. And absolutely, it's funny how everyone started to panick when Shopify shared the deprecation notification. So I switched to 5th gear.

    Thanks for the FREE tutorials. Question - once we connect this for Remarketing, how do we set up an Add to Cart audience, as well as an audience for specific products that were viewed (Dynamic Remarketing I believe)? I'm very new to this, so appreciate any insight you have here.

      Follow the instructions here support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2454064?hl=en and choose event as your trigger.

    Great video Emmanuel! Can I have this set up alongside my existing remarketing tag or do I need to completely switch over? Please advise, and thanks again.

      I recommend a complete switch so that there is no double tracking.

    Thanks for the great content. It is a huge help. One question: what if the remarketing country is more than one? For instance, Germany, Austria, France?
    Also How can I see the if remarketing generate sales or not?

      Usually when I setup feeds I use 1 and the same product ID. This to avoid overbloated coding. IE just 1 code. So in your case if you are using different id's you will need to set it up multiple times. Not recommended, but that is what you will need to do. Alternatively correclty setup the id's in the feed, but that comes with it's own problems when migrating.

    Hello Emmanuel, thanks for the tutorial. I have a question: can I add multiple pixels and activate them all? For example. Can I add enhanced conversion pixel and remarketing pixel and activate them? will I have issues? TIA!

      You may need to test it. I have never tested the code being listed more than once.

    does this code capture dynamic remarketing variables? such as ecom prod id?

    • @feedarmy
      @feedarmy  Před měsícem

      ecomm_prodid, is the old attribute and has been replaced with the id attrbute for many years now, and as per official docs: support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/6106009?hl=en#zippy=%2Cset-up-the-data-layer-code-on-your-site

      @@feedarmy amazing, thank you! last question. how could I identify if my clients are using parent id, or varient id to make that adjustment you mentioned.

    • @feedarmy
      @feedarmy  Před měsícem

      @@joeybidner Go to Shopify product page, and click on the variant, now look at the URL address bar, if the first digits match the GMC id, its the parent, if its the second set of digits, it's the variant.

      @@feedarmy thank you man! last 2 question i swear. if im running ads in various countries with 1 website but a sub account GMC for each country (shopify markets) should I apply this code 3x (3 separate pixels) each with the corresponding country code? lastly, when applying the customer event pixel, there are 6 permission options. "marketing, anaylitcs, preferences, and 3 data collection options (long sentences I wont repeat here" what are you selecting for this? i assume its different for different country laws, but for usa/canada what is necessary?

    • @feedarmy
      @feedarmy  Před měsícem

      @@joeybidner That depends on how you setup yoru feed, check what the product ids are fro each country, and if they are all different, yes, you need to add the same code multiple times, not recommended but the only solution. I kept all the settings in Shopify privacy as default.
