I hope people don't come after this match saying that Bayo is a bad MU for Mario. Geist is just built different, and Dark Wizzy generally struggles against Bayonetta. This MU actually mostly even, if not, slight Mario. Mario's disadvantage lies in the fact that Bayo dominates the air with combos almost as much, if not better than him. Both have amazing damage rackup abilities and surprise early KOs. Mario also has balanced weight, which will make it harder for him to SDI/DI out of Bayo's combos. But in the end, the MU is slight Mario because Bayo's disadvantage lies in the fact Mario can easily take a Bayo stock with her being as light as she is, and while Bayo can do the same, it's gonna be far harder, since she has risky KO options when her opponent has high damage, and with Mario's balanced weight, it's gonna be even harder. But still, this MU is equally winnable for both!

@@Annihilatedd Squirtle is considered a -2 matchup for bayo.....mario does everything Squirtle does but better. Lima and Giest both consider this matchup to be even at best, but will admit that Bayo has to work 2x as hard to win. Which to me makes it sound like a -1 matchup.
