One of the best bands ever. Donnie's voice and writing are so perfect. Enuff ZNuff and Donnie Vie's solo CDs are the best thing in my large collection.
Fun hu? Thats 😥 sad big time too much. Too fast you cant play with fire specially in Chicago where thay put all sorts of bullshit even in rasta joints LITTLE bags too its sick dont do it man
Frigo was awesome. Never saw him play only listened to my tapes and CD’s so thanks for posting. I see a lot of EVH in his playing style now that I saw it live. Pretty cool.
Nobody ever mentions a certain artist that I believe was another inspiration, Eddie Money. This song I do hear Eddie Money, rest his soul. I actually drove limo for Eddie a few years before he left this world and he was the sweetest guy. I have great stories about him and his son but I am just so glad that I got to see the original band here in 1990 or 91, kind of blurry on the dates. They were awesome!!!
You’re so lucky to have met eddie…. Too bad he got into heroin and whatever else he did He gave us great music since the 70s and especially the 80s My favorite era for music … glad I got see him a few times in concert
They playe well enough to play just like they'd done on albums.I mean they were far more professional than Poison. It was disaster that they were regarded as a Poison follower.
Derek didn't even care what kind of guitar he used because he used five or six different type of guitars totally different from one another he wasn't like a Les Paul or Strat guy just whatever was handy and he still sounded great and that's awesome

first unknown song is "How Am I Supposed to Write a Love Song?" off of Z'Nuff's tweaked, second unknown song is a cover "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" by The Beatles. also, "Whole lot of shaking" is actually "Long Way to Go" off of Strength. thank you for the timestamps!
@@USMCSDI LOL znuff always covered beatles in almost every show around this time, i've been trying to restore as much as i can on setlist fm because misinformation sucks so this helped a lot, thanks again
there is so much footage on YT from Enuff Z Nuff that is missing important details- venue, location, date, etc...any one of them is missing from the description and fans have to scramble to figure things out.
the Nelson tour was summer of '91. by 1993, EZN was out of their own and hanging on by the skin of their teeth. the new album went nowhere and the Letterman appearance did nothing for them. unfortunately, trying to find detailed touring history about the band is near impossible.
Dereks guitar playing... my God... what a loss for the world when he passed away RIP...

The best kept secret in music ❤
@dcbdiscerns7617 how innocence didn't fly. All of the other crap I heard over the years on the radio.
Wow one of the best live concerts I have heard from Enuff Znuff thanks for sharing this awesome ❤❤❤😊
Donnie, you are so talented. Such a brilliant song writer. A joy to behold!!
His voice is so unique and beautiful ❤
...two greats lost to life. 😔

They should have been much much bigger and Derek should have lived much much longer such a shame total tragedy

Whammy bar and awful harmonics throughout every song. yuck
Once saw them at the Thirsty Whale and Derek says to the guys. “Without me you guys would be the bay city rollers”….LMAO
They are a phenomenal sounding live band. Look at the age and quality of this recording, open air gig. Just incredible. Donnie is a great singer.
At their peak of powers.
Saw them the next day in Champaign, IL.
Donnie has got that special some thing. It’s called MAGIC
Yes Derick Frigo is the best guitarist R.I.P ❤
Derek is showing his best! I think it's the whole daylight thing...too early to be in "party-mode"! Miss that quiet dude!
RIP Derek & ricky
Love this.
I was a HUGE fan of Enuff even through the Nirvana/STP/Alice In Chains invasion in the early 90's. They were ALWAYS good!
Same
Thanks for sharing! 🤘🏻🎸❤️
Best band and best fucking lineup of all time.
Derek was as good as anyone. Such a tragic loss. 😞
Proof at about 41 minutes in 😮
A unique sound and feel for certain ❤
Donnie's up there with Lennon, Plant, Rodgers, Mercury, Scott, Stayley - The guys that mean every single note! ❤

I can totally hear Eddie Money singing influence this song! Rock On!

I was into Enuff Z Nuff BEFORE The Beatles. The penny dropped - oh, these guys are the Rock Beatles. Cool. ☮❤
10:00 minute in and this is gold.

Nice video , wish you recorded the lead singer- bass player more
😎🎸🤘 E'Z'N fod@!!
Hi
Know how you can tell if the band is tight? When the bassist can play a guitar better than most other bands' guitarists. 43:56. 😳
Frigo Chipper Donnie
setlist please?
Was this the gig in the Rosemont Horizon parking lot?
Was wondering the same thing. That was fun

So curious who they were out with at this time? Nelson maybe?

Love Nelson! Great band! Love (You Got Me) All Shook Up by Nelson.
