Started my bachelors in graphic design this year so I just bought one to replace my maxed out 12 core 2010 Mac Pro
Yes, everyone thinks the Apple ecosystem is overrated (including me) until they experience the Apple ecosystem. lol. I was a Linux guy for literally decades until I finally gave up and admitted that the open source software used for creative projects were simply no match for their commercial counterparts....with one or two exceptions. I have an M1 now and will be upgrading to the M2 Max Pro soon. And to answer some questions about it....I use NO Apple peripherals with my Mac mini. I have two Asus monitors (one Pro-Art) and Logitech mouse and keyboard. I'm not a fan of the Magic Mouse. It's cool and all, but not for the heavy use that is required of my work.

Hey if I use Mac mini 13 hrs/day for iOS development and coding will it sustain. What about its Hardware problem do you face any

Exactly what thinking of doing, unfortunately you can’t use the gift card towards it tho
@@EstaDePiPi sorry, i’m talking about one of the external ssd’s that the Apple store sells. i’m aware you can’t use the gift before making the purchase, but you can definitely use it for accessories after the purchase, which includes an external ssd. to upgrade the storage directly on the device from Apple is overpriced imo.

What about programming on swift. Will I run smoothly when building a app?
Sorry for the late response, I had a conversation with one on my good friends who's a front end web dev and he actually uses the M1 mac Mini when coding and I went over the specs with him and the M2 and from our conversation it should be more than enough for web dev on swift. However, if your doing machine learning or back end web dev it you should opt for the pro. I hope this helped!

Thank you! I'm not too familiar with the acer Nitro but if you're doing really heavy editing I would do the M2 Mac Mini and bump up the RAM. Which would essentially be the same price as m1 air but if you want to be able to edit on the go rather than just at home in your desktop then I would go with the M1 air! I hope I was able to help you out!
