The planet's best downhill racers competed in the picturesque setting of Lošinj. The small Croatian island welcomed around 300 mountain bikers from all over the world. Finally, Aaron Gwin (USA) proved it again and won the race just before Luca Shaw (USA) and Dean Lucas (AUS).

God i love Downhill mountainbiking. There ain't nothing that comes close for me. Been watching and riding downhill ever since I seen Missy Giove on Cannondale on Transworld sport. The world of downhill is a great life and can teach you a lot about being an individual.
Aaron Gwin well, he has jaw dropping rides, they really are. It's always exciting to see him exceed the speed.
God I miss this Gwin, hopefully he can get back to form

the upper rocksection was something new and different... but the lower "urban"part has nothing to do with WC-DH
A Röhrl i agree. I didnt like the bottom part where they implemented urban flat ground. Thats not downhill
They had no other way around it if they wanted to end it in the harbour(center of town,which is the only appropriate location).

So your saying if you put on tons of weight you will go faster? Count me in.
wade cox, makes no sense, the men juniors are lighter or about same weight as the woman and they are still 15s faster than the women, some section of the track it looked like the women where standing still. So the time difference is purely skill based, not weight or power.

Yes, the track is gnarly and a way more DH track than Leogang nowadays. Loved it!

I started watching this at .25x speed just to analyze Gwin's riding and possibly learn from it. The audio and the riding quickly made it kinda cringey and funny to watch. XD I can't take it seriously.
