I like how any run can be beaten but it always comes down to, “Ok but can this beat the heart?”
I love the amount of times that I watch these "every relic is X" videos and go, "Man if he just gets this, he's set" realizing that I'm thinking of another relic. Like when all the curses were mentioned at the start of the run, I'm like "Man, imagine if he got Du-vu doll. Oh wait..."
Imagine fiend fire with the necro curses just exhausting them and coming back for each cast

@@RioZMC Well don’t worry, it’s a unique challenge whereas it can be done with every character and I think he only did it with the watcher
did the math at the end, would have left you at 78 after Reaper (heart at 328), playing true grit and strike (heart 322) would leave you at 48, defend shockwave would be 4 hp with a fairy, if the next turn drew either Immolate or bash (heart 122) would leave you at 10 (8 if you draw battle trance as you need to play it, more if you play any defense), this would end with either 4 cards in deck or 8 with a battle trance. 3 draw from a fresh deck (with evolve), with outs of rage or mind blast (able to kill before you died) so about 1 in 25 cards are an out with a max of 6/7 cards being pulled not great odds but possible.

My best friend suggested this one! I got her into Frost recently and it's awesome seeing her suggestion featured like this
Re Donu and Deka fight, with 15 Necronomicurses in a 37 card deck the chance of drawing none of them in the opening 5 card hand was 7.4%.
The chance of drawing one of the 3 Immolates in a 5 card hand was 34.5%
At least two chances for Fiend Fire, perfect for all those curses and statuses...
It doesn't work that way for Necronomicon as the card states you can't escape the curse. Itt just puts it back in your hand.

@@ztpayne7 i wasn't meaning to get rid of it, but to be able to use it on an otherwise dead hand. Even if they respawn back in your hand, you can still exhaust them for the damage.

Sad that he didn't pick up Fire Breathing, think that could have helped with dead hand turns
not by much, Fire Breathing only works if you have lots of draw to combat the dead cards (curse & status), but Evolve doesn't even trigger with curses... so
For that to really be a benefit, he’d have to draw and play Fire Breathing early and his deck had close to 40 cards.
Man, feel no pains, more rages, or second winds woulda made this a lot better
Hell fire breathing is hella over looked here
@@jamescolohan4380 Fire breathing does like no damage against the heart, and is just worse than any 2 attack card. You need a lot of draw(which frost did not have) with those curses for fire breathing to do at max 100 damage. That's an awful draw and does less damage than bash.
Damage was solved in this run. What frost needed was draw and block.
Am I going crazy or didn't Frost have a video where every relic was Necro already? because I can't find it and I'm questioning my sanity xD
and In the final boss fight there was a perfectly timed I am the storm after a loooong wind-up of animations that was suuuper satisfying lol

If he would've played reaper, he would have healed to 58hp (18*4=72 for reaper's healing, 72/2=36 for beat of death, 36+22=58). The heart wouldn't have done this much damage with the single hit, instead leaving Frost at 11hp. From there on, he would've had to draw rage and a 2-cost card just to survive and have a chance to kill next turn
This would be super cool on the hermit. Not sure how the mids would work, though
Theme fire, dark embrace would actually be goated. Necro curse would just unexhaust itself each time, so as long as you don't use it till it's lethal. It doesn't matter if it exhausts your entire deck

Bit of an "um actually" moment, while he would not have won still, but with reaper healing 5 per use, and the heart dealing 2 per card played (meaning net 3 hp gain per use), and him having 16 necronomicons, leading to 17 total uses, that would meaning he gains 17 x 3 health, or 51 gain, you then add that 51 to his 22 health pool, leading to 73 health, he would then survive the 35 hit with a measly 38 health, then be struck with that 4 x 15, or 60 damage, but add on the 24 from the fairy to your 38, and what do you know, you live with 2 hp left. Not important, because it is still a very slim chance of having the winning draw, but you know, math.
Plus he had shockwave in that final hand, meaning he can play it to lower incoming damage to 3*15 by applying weak. By playing defend shockwave, he has 38 health 1 block facing 45 damage, plus the 24 from the fairy. This leads him with a grand total of 18 health.
Still unlikely he would have won, but with the heart spending a turn buffing, I think there's a real chance to do the remaining damage.
@@mathpuzzler9563 unfortunately, at that time the heart had gained artifact, and necronomicon only procs on attacks, but I thought that at first too.

Pretty sure evolve is status only.
Curses are not status cards. Evolve only draws on status cards.

it is confusing because firebreathing does curses and status cards, which usually go hand in hand

If you don't have the courrier, nor any other relics, it's useless to have all shops free, you just get 8 free cards per shop ^^'
