Another review, another disconnected speedometer, another used bike goes to a customer who thinks it's a brand new bike which he paid for. What you're doing is very unethical, Aman. I'm just disappointed in such reviewers.
@Leo every showroom has bikes or cars for test drive. Those should be used for this kind of reviews. Owners should get brand new car/bike

He doesn't stay in a place that gets 'test' bikes for every model and type. And they are 'delivered' there by riders who ride them from city showrooms.
Unicorn and shine both have smooth engine,good comfort,soft suspension. And both kept this unique features since years.
Shine is no more smooth... Its way torquey now and vibes comes around 60kmph... Suspension also very stiff... Only feel comfortable with chubby pillion 😁.. but ya unicorn is comfy.. but lack low end

Great bike to be honest. Bought it the last september, facing no issues till now. Satisfying gear shifts, silent engine , reliability, maintenance cost.etc makes it the most brilliant bike in its segment. Completely satisfied with it.

Hi Aman, you always give honest reviews aur aapka review style ka mai fan hoon. Aapne itne saare bikes chalaya hai, so can we expect a series on the best 125cc bikes or best 150cc bikes of 2021 in the categories of price point, mileage and features? There are many youtubers providing this info, however your reviews seem more believable.
I had CB Shine 2012 model. And it always feels like there's a need of one more gear even in top gear. And because of that I never liked riding that bike. And that was not the problem in only my bike. I have ridden other cb shine too and they all feels the same, also newer models(2019). And the thing is I never find someone talking about this on youtube.
Now it has 5th gear and on highways it runs like a chitah

I'm facing gear shifting issue in bs6 model. Runs 4500km only. I told to service centre but not resolved yet. 2nd service done at 3500km.
Adjust the clutch cable properly.. it will be solved..and drive it more..it will be solved automatically

Somehow I feel shine is equally good looking like the modern design of sp 125. The only negative of both is the slimback tyre. But it shows more in sp125. But digi console of sp125 is great. So leaning towards sp

My father rode super splendor for 60 thousand kilometers.never had any issues.2 months ago he bought honda cb shine which was the worst decision. Engine heats too much in a short ride and too little mileage.i regret the decision to buy him cb shine instead of another super splendor

@@rahul-jz7uo i am getting around 45. The heating issues have been solved after 3 servicing. My only issue now with The bike is it's very small 1st gear ratio.it makes a lot of noise in 1st gear

I own shine bs6 since Aug 2020. Pros & cons are..
Pros:
*I'm getting 70+ kmpl in economy mode.
*Engine won't feel stressed up to 75kmph
*Minimal vibrations post 70kmph
*suspensions, handling and breaking are very good
*Light Weight and excellent ride quality
Cons:
*Lock set and ecu got damaged within one and half year. Only Ecu covered under warranty and lock set costed 2500/- including labor charges
*rusting problem (may be becauseof costal area) on Chrome parts like handle bar, exhaust plate and etc
*fit and finish is good but plastic could be of better quality.
Some advantages of shine bs6 and Sp125 are
*Long service intervals like 6k kms or 6 months whichever is earlier
*5amps big battery
Suggestions:
Go with MRF tyres and disc brake variant.

Go for CB/SP Shine 125 instead. Gives 50 or 50+ mileage. Unicorn BS6 2022 gives around 45-50kmpl only due to its high powered 160cc engine. Looking at the sky rocketing prices of Petrol, Shine is the best

Using CB Shine "SP" bs4 from 4 year's which has 5 speed gearbox,semi digital instrument cluster with trip meter & bike weighs around 124 kg
Pro's
1) Butter smooth engine with smooth gear shifts
2)Lite clutch,nice pickup
3)60-70 is ideal cruise speed
4) nissin front disc brake offers good bite
Cons
1)narrow rear tyre
2)very short first gear
3)poor lighting(bs4 model has problem while on less acceleration light visibility becomes dull and while on high acceleration light visibility is slightly better than previous case but overall average lighting)
4)buzzing starts around the tank around 65-70 kmph
5)rear tyre skids and feels unstable

Not a stable bike at 70+ speed.
Engine vibrates above 50+ speed
My activa is 4 year old and it even vibrates at ideal .

Nothing cosmetic that will increase its cost unnecessary it's best bike in 125 segment punchy in low end, best handling, a good comfort and reliable engine. Only need USB chrging as an update......and it's good to go.

Halogen bulbs are better in indian roads and for our eyes... LED are Look wise okk but not practical that's why i choose shine... Going to book a new one in January 22

@@kunalshah2331 yeah I bought it jan 11and its comfortable to ride smooth gearbox but some time i feel 2 nd gear have a stuck while shifting from 2 to 1, i think its because of a new bike... Not a big problem and before i owned glamour, it had more weight 129kg so its stable in higher speed, shine 114kg only its a matter when it comes on highway ride... Any big vehicle passed through near to you the wind pressure is feels more than glamour, u just thought i going to fall (only u going on higher speed 65-80 kmpl) these all are not a big problems..... I love the engine smoothness & dc headlight have sufficient light & Brightness....
And last i have a suggestion to honda please don't cut mirrors sides for edgy shapes it reducing the visibility..... My old glamour had more wider view than my new shine

Which other bike did u test ride before taking the shine 125 ? I have ridden the Tvs Star City plus , i think its the most comfortable bike ever ridden by me but somehow i feel it lacks power as its 110cc otherwise i would have taken it eyes closed ..so i am looking for that kind of comfort in the next bike that i take
Yes the mirrors in honda bikes provides less view , honda doesn’t focus on practicality .. honda’s tatti is stuck on engine sometimes i feel they cant think beyond that even after charging so much ₹ for their 2 wheelers
@@kunalshah2331 pillion comfort is good but not that great as my old glamour, if u r a fat person u r little uncomfortable to sit because shine always a little Small in length compared to glamour everything is a minor problems not a big deal suspension is good, Honda replaced the Nissin Disc brake setup with Endurance disc brakes

Both are same and gives 50+ at 70kmph. Sp125 has led light which helps a lot in night time riding because we can turn on both long and short at same time if required, but on shine bs6 it's halogen light and we cannot turn on both at the same time.

Bought the bs4 in 2019....rode 10k kms..... 45-50kmpl mileage if I ride 60-70kmph (aggressively).not the most best looking but not ugly. Top speed 95kmph without leaning

@@creative_visions123 bs4 shine has a carburetor, i won't recommend you to go for it because all bs6 bikes now come with fuel injection. But also I've heard that people are having oil leak issues in bs6 shine
@@creative_visions123 as far as i know, there is no extra maintenance needed for small bs6 bikes, I'd say go for bs6 bike
I think Shine 100 is left out. Please make a review of it though I know it's very difficult to make reviews, lots of efforts are to be spent, vehicle to be arranged.
