Hi :) I'm going to live in New College from this September!!! Can't wait to meet people in there
Hey! Hope to see you around 😉😉
keep making videos, it really helps feel like campus even though im taking online classes 🤧
Thank you! Haha, hopefully you can come back to HK and take f2f classes soon ^^
the point of 'never trigger the fire alarm' got me 💀💀💀 LOLLLLLLL
Haha you may try one day 🤣😉
Im hopefully starting at HKU in september! I'm a Brazilian student, and Im really excited to go to the university! Your video helped me to get a feel of the colleges and better understand what my priorities are for looking for housing! HAve you ever done dorm tours ?? Like how big the rooms are, and stuff. If you have, sorry for asking, but could you send me its link or the name of the video please?
Thanks a lot! Your video vas super helfull!!
Hi Pamela, glad my video is helpful 💕 I did a room tour video, you can find it on my channel ~
Hii, which hall would you recommend for exchange students who are keen on drinking and partying and not too serious about work haha? I am also only staying for a year so won't need to worry about readmission :) I've heard the JCSVIII are the best for exchange/international students. SJC also has a lot of international students but I've heard it is sort of like a religious hall with many traditions? How's that like haha I am not religious.
Overall I just want want to be in a chill environment where I am not forced to do anything lol, be with people that like to have fun, not too serious about their studies :)
Hi CrushMeii! Yeah, you're right. SJC and JCSVIII are mostly international students, but in my opinion I think JCSVIII is a more chill environment if you don't want to be forced to do anything. However, since you're not worried about readmission maybe SJC is a good option for you too as I heard the people there like to have fun and they have lots of floor bonding activities~ Hope it helps! :)
@@ashleybae9488 Thank you so much!
Nice video!!!
Thank you ❤️
As part of the admission process, students are invited to take part in an admission interview for the College. Can you share your interview experience?
Can i ask you a question about study at HKU in next year?
Is it good to study in Hong Kong with everything is going on?
Ps. Your videos are amazing. I love all of them
Hi, thank you! I think it’s okay to study in Hong Kong ^^
I am going to study in HKU in September, too. I am an international student. I am not inclined to participate many activities. If I choose JCSVIII, will I still have to join activities? How many activities I have to participate in order to get readmission? Thank you.
Hello! Congrats on getting into HKU! If you want to get readmitted back into JCSVIII the next year, you must participate in activities as they will assess how much you contribute to the dorm. But if you’re not keen to get readmitted, it’s okay if you don’t participate much in activities. Hope it helps ☺️☺️
Heyy, which one has the least international students? ☺️
Do you have a single room at the New College? Is it easy to get a single room there?
Hi Ada, yes I do. Pretty difficult since it's competitive!
@@ashleybae9488 may I know what process you had to go through?
@@adaleung3165 just the interview process. Same as what I said in the video. But you have to participate a lot to be competitive :)
