refreshing to see a unique list with not just the same few (although amazing) tracks taking the top spots. I wish this also contained NieR Reincarnation OST, some of the tracks from it are replicant/automata level of quality despite it being a mobile game.
I will eventually rank Reincarnation and then mix it into a new Nier series list
i very agree with you , but where is the EMIL DESPAIR ( エミール/絶望) THE Nier Automata True Final Boss Fight ending Y
Doesn't matter in the grand scale of things but number 35 is (Cold Rain) version, (Spring Rain) is my favourite and is always overlooked because it plays on a DLC fight only, to my knowledge.
Have you considered making an entry for the NieR Reincarnation game in your ranking ? Also, if you're wondering, yes this game is important as it is both the NieR series' conclusion and an answer to all of the questions and incomprehensions we could have from these games.

Very nice, think you just have one missing track which is "End of the Unknown".
End of the Unknown just missed the cut at number 36 on the combined list for me! It’s number 20 on my Automata list.
I always rank more songs than I end up including in the videos
Ah makes sense I personally would have it in top 10 just because of the fight in automata and one of the Alliance Raid bosses in FFXIV and it really standing out from the other songs.
Im also guessing u don't include like collab ost thats cannon to Nier like FFXIV which has one song changed "Weight of the World (Prelude Version)"?
I would include cases like that in the game where song plays, so if I rank FFXIV it might appear there
song of the ancients hollow dreams is my #1, no diff
I think what we're forgetting here in the comments is that all these songs are absolutely amazing regardless of their ranking

I find it weird that Birth of a wish is in here, but not the variants.
I just like it better without them! The variants are neat for the game but just for listening I prefer the default

Im disappointed that no Drakengard 1 music is included in the list
I know they’re related but this is just a Nier series list! I’m sure I will rank the Drakengard series eventually and then fuse them into another video!
@@calebgames6159 Oh, kinda feel bad rn. My comment was kinda ironic - we all know how "Special" DOD ost is, and its impossible to compare it to moder nier series music :)
Although im hyped for Drakengard ost ranking - Don't forget about Drakengard mobile ost ;p

Ooh wretched weaponry 7. Thats nier automata theme song, the eternal, never ending conflict that leaves everyone heartbroken. Okay, you might have solid opinions after all... Maybe I'll give another try and look at 35-10...

A lot of these just depend on whether you favor emotional pieces or active battle pieces more. Kaine Salvation at no. 11 on possibly the greatest series of music ever is still very high praise from me!
You’re probably right that Voice of No Return should be on here somewhere. I don’t think it was in the ost list I was listening to. Will have to consider!
