Many thanks for watching, I know a few of you will be asking ‘Why a camper van??!’ Well, the further I cruise my boat away from family & friends the harder it is to visit, plus I can now follow my dreams of travelling on both land and water .....Pirates often go plundering and pillaging on land too 🏴☠😁 For more info such as filming equipment, Music, FAQ and more please visit my website - thepirateboat.co.uk🏴☠

Oh, such a change of plans. Here's a poem for your new adventure. Heidi's New Adventure Heidi and Sandra set sail no more Their narrowboats they left at the shore The countryside called, vast and green Camper vans they bought, a new scene A wandering life, they each embarked Through winding roads and paths unmarked From sea to mountains, they did roam A freedom found, like birds to home No more the waterways, a new way Nature, they sought in full array The winds of change, now blowing strong A life renewed, like a brand new song Heidi and Sandra, now free to roam Their life, their own, no more at home With each wood, meadow and hill Their hearts now full, a new life to fill.
@The Narrowboat Pirate I'm glad you like the poems I've posted. I have to confess that my writing partner is Chat GPT. So, all the poems that I've posted are 100% original, but I prompted Chat GPT to write them for you.

Reminds me when I lived in a VW bus for 6 months in the early 70's. No heat unless the engine was running. Nice bed, sink and campfires for cooking food. Thanks for sharing.
Girl the whole world is watching you and we can't get enough of you and the narrowboat pirate, it was awesome to see you and Sandra back together again doing another adventure and having fun and trying so hard to stay dry because I tell you being all wet and moist should be left in the bedroom😜

Another great adventure, thanks !...Never been to England but our ancestors came from England in the early 17 th century. Came to the New World as part of the English Colony in Virginia. We now live at the foot of the Peaks of Otter, named for the Otter Highland of Scotland...

I uprated the electrics on my 7m camper.Bolted a 500w solar panel to the roof, added another 100Amp hour battery. Only wish I had put in a 2000 Wat inverter instead of the 1000W one as it won't power up the microwave when I'm wild camping.
Really enjoyed the new venture. Too bad the weather wasn't more agreeable. Will you and David be taking a camper van trip together sometime? Thanks for sharing. Be well and stay safe.
Lately i take a cold shower to prepare for your video, didn't feel like it today so i went out on my deck in 0*C naturist style. Got a whoo-who from the new nieghbor lady. She said she didn't know we had comedy routines here as well.
Brilliant! I'm so delighted to see my old haunts Polling, Carnforth and Kirkby Lonsdale. Many years ago I used to hike with a climbing club. We climbed all the Lake District and Yorkshire too. All great memories! Have a wonderful evening. Lots of 💘 from Arizona. Grassmere, Hawkshead and Coniston are great places to stay with an RV. Have fun Heidi! 😀
Hi Heidi. Enjoyed watching your adventures with Sandra. I too have a narrow boat (Merlot) and a VW campervan. My mooring is in Waverton, Chester. I am very interested in how Sandra is coping with the Irish Canals. I also would like to ship Merlot over to Ireland as husband dreams of living there. Thanks again. Looking forward to your next adventures. Bye for now. Heather x
Absolutely loved that journey with you Heidi, love your little camper van. That apps amazing finding some little gems to stay. Just the good old English weather letting you down. Take care, ☠️❤️🥃
Love that little Ye olde pub and accommodation thank you for the heads up on that. What a great combo of a Motor home and a Narrowboat you've really gotten life sussed, good for you.
Superb filming and commentaries on an exceptional adventure. Rocking up at the pub and not being open reminded me of pulling up outside the Anchor on the Shroppie one day and it not open until the landlady felt like it. When it did though I was overjoyed at learning that the band Black Sabbath used the pub for a drink after band practice so I was made up. Hope you are well and all is well with you. Keep safe warm dry and virus free.
It would be wonderful to cruise to the Lakes. We have the same problem with the Stroudwater canal being split by the M5. However, we are going to dig a tunnel under the M5 (I wanted to put a lift bridge across it). We have brought the cut under the A38. Need to dig another mile of canal too. Google Stroudwater Canal.
KiaOra Heidi, I've no idea why YT put your channel in my feed but I'm so glad they did! Been watching your vlogs for the past month and I'm loving them! You're such a cool lady and i Love the red lippy 💋 Blessings from New Zealand 🇳🇿 💙🌏💙
Hey Heidi, what fun. Maybe you could travel up north where there aren't any canals sometime. I'd be curious to see what that part of the country is like. Oh, I noticed your subscriber count has gone up a few thousand, congrats! Well deserved.
Thank you Roger 😃🏴☠️ I have been to Scotland and the Lake District many times but it was before I started creating videos so I would love to do them again 😃
Love it Heidi !! “We’ll be in bed by 8 o’clock “…………….” Sandra’s just left it’s half eleven “ 😅😅. A good evening all round. Still watching, not so much bingeing as a shocking realisation occurred to me. Soon I’ll be up to date and then I don’t know if I’ll be able to cope with one new video per week 😳😁. I’ll have to go back and start all over again. Your vlogs are always entertaining, full of laughs, a great insight into the canal lifestyle and addictive. Thank you 👍
Oooh, loved this vlog Heidi! So good to see Sandra again 😍 I've got a jumbo transit self conversion called Vera that Ive adventured in for a few years. She'll be on my dad's drive when I'm in the boat (bloody solicitors are taking an age to sort the sale my flat!) but like you, I'll still do trips..mostly up to Scotland. Can't wait for the next level of freedom! Cheers lovely 🍻. Tracy 🙂 Ps...so happy to see you're at 24k subscribers! Well deserved!
Love the van my mum and dad years ago used to have a vw camper much same inside great memories love the vans ours was orange you and your friend could jazz yours up ) catching up on your old vlogs )
Oh no! Now I'm confused again. It's hard enough tryin' to follow the Pirate Queen on a boat. Now she's got a bloody van too! She's roaming both the water, and the roads. Take care, folks...🤔 Too much for me. Have to search my cupboards for some rum... of course just for my bloodpressure... Thanks Heidi, You really makes days more funny. Love you! (No, not in that way...😛)
Devils Bridge is a BIG bikers haunt on a weekend, many have come from far & wide, me being one!...........The second K in Kirkby is a silent letter.......Enjoy all your vids, this one was a nice change, pity it persisted down a lot, but expected from Lancashire, we get all the sun over the boarder.......lol....
Blimey Heidi, its like u were following in my dootsteps. Before picking up canal boat last year at Tewitfield I had a night in Morecambe, went to Kirby Lonsdale, walked the old locks at Tewitfield and a few days later ended up in old Nells, best ever😂👊👊
Really loved watching your campervan excursion! Quite cool that you have the ability to travel on land and water for adventures. Can't wait to see what you have in store next. Best wishes from Texas USA.
Hi Heidi what a delighful trip out. I wonder if it is possible to put an aquaduct over that motorway to link the canal, then a narrowboat can cruise to the lake district. Maybe a millionaire like Richard Branson might want to fund it.😂 That ditti you read out had got to be one of the best. ❤
This was a great video it was great seeing the canal still & the moorings at Lancaster. The Olde Worlde village & pub looked fantastic 😊😊. Enjoy your next trip Heidi 😊🚐
Now this is a surprise but a really nice one ,I really laughed when neither of you could open that bottle particularly you Heidi dear after all you've had so much practice!! Was Sandra the same lady you u visited in Ireland some while back . Your journey was interesting despite the weather, they say a change is as good as a rest Your camper is really cute and in really good shape. We're having typical April showery weather . and the grass is turning green again after being snow covered for so long. So thanks for this change of pace. it was delightful . Take care be good lluvz ya lots XXX'❤❤❤
Perfect spot is Bolton le sands canal packet boat pub and. A brilliant chippy all within a 100 yards apart you took me back my I'll spent youth Morecambe the canal Cornforth testified loved the video Heidi cheers n beers Marty Australia
"but it's an absolute nightmare when you withdraw your nozzle 'cause it just squirts everywhere". thankfully, the youtube censors haven't started checking for double entendres...🤭. thanks for another great episode.
What a super adventure Rum Lass, didn't know you were going to be on my turf for a jot ☺ See you can't stay away from the waterways (he he) Next time your round this way you're welcome to come and have a play and make something in my tiny workshop. If only I could fit it in a narrow boat 😣. Keep your shiny side up. Subbed, liked and rang your bell ☺
When were you in Kirby Lonsdale Heidi? We parked over last weekend on our way to Silverdale. Now Silverdale is a brilliant park up. The we moved onto Sunderland Point to visit Sambo's grave. A lovelely walk. Thanks for another great vlog and pleased we are both vanners!
That was a bloody great video Heidi. Those vans you and Sandra have are fantastic, my opinion, I stress MY opinion, they’re one person vans but hell I’d love one. We had a big one with two slide outs but got rid of it, our plane was to sell and go to the UK and buy a narrowboat, COVID stopped that, but we’ve since brought a caravan. Fantastic towns you stopped in, very pretty, we did 4 weeks on a narrowboat then 4 weeks hire of a motorhome in the UK, it’s very pretty and so different to Oz, loved it. Very much enjoyed that, thanks for taking us on the trip. Stay safe. 💕
Oh wow Pauline that sounds a fabulous trip 😄🏴☠️ yes the van is very small but I’m on my own now so it’s just perfect …. Maybe room for a lovely little dog in the future 😄🏴☠️
@@TheNarrowboatPirate. I think that van is perfect for one person. Has everything, amazing fora 23 year old van. We have two dogs in our caravan, one only 4.9kg and the other 19.6kg. We loved that trip which is why we decided to go home and sell the motorhome, 3 weeks home and Covid hit. Bas*#rd it was.
The Pirate ship Rum Wench, heavily laden with booty and Rum, sails low in the waters, looking for levity and fun. But when the tide is extra low, making mooring a bloody chore, Captain Heidi gives the command, “walk the plank me hearties or swim ashore”.
Many thanks for watching, I know a few of you will be asking ‘Why a camper van??!’ Well, the further I cruise my boat away from family & friends the harder it is to visit, plus I can now follow my dreams of travelling on both land and water .....Pirates often go plundering and pillaging on land too 🏴☠😁

Oh, such a change of plans. Here's a poem for your new adventure.
Heidi's New Adventure
Heidi and Sandra set sail no more
Their narrowboats they left at the shore
The countryside called, vast and green
Camper vans they bought, a new scene
A wandering life, they each embarked
Through winding roads and paths unmarked
From sea to mountains, they did roam
A freedom found, like birds to home
No more the waterways, a new way
Nature, they sought in full array
The winds of change, now blowing strong
A life renewed, like a brand new song
Heidi and Sandra, now free to roam
Their life, their own, no more at home
With each wood, meadow and hill
Their hearts now full, a new life to fill.
Lovely 😃🏴☠️

🐸🐸🥃🏴☠️
hi heidi loved watching this weeks and had a cuppa and put pen to paper or finger to keyboard
here tis
Friday down under await the next episode,
A bit of a change she swapped the cut for the road
Polly the van was the vehicle she bought
Her experience with this amounted to nought
She drives it up front not way down the back
With plush cosy seats for resting her (back)
A nice big round wheel for her to hold
And a windscreen up front so her nipples aren’t cold
She drove where the battles of roses were fought
A nice quiet spot was all that she sought
Near a pub with some food to fill up her tum
Not to forget the compulsory rum
The fish and the chips and some drinks she was hopin
But our lovely wench had no tool used to open
Back on the boat with the van put away
We now wait for more to see next friday
cheers Aussie dave
Aww thanks Aussie Dave 😄🏴☠️

Hi Heidi what a delighful trip out. I wonder if it is possible to put an aquaduct over that motorway to link the canal, then a narrowboat can cruise to the lake district. Maybe a millionaire like Richard Branson might want to fund it.😂
That ditti you read out had got to be one of the best. ❤
It was a fab ditty…. Yes come on Richard 😂😂🏴☠️

Your journey was interesting despite the weather, they say a change is as good as a rest
Your camper is really cute and in really good shape. We're having typical April showery weather .

Aww thank you 😃🏴☠️
Wonderful content, very informative. Just great thank you

When were you in Kirby Lonsdale Heidi? We parked over last weekend on our way to Silverdale. Now Silverdale is a brilliant park up.

Thank you 😄❤️🏴☠️
Proper trip. Very moist. 🙂
😂😂
The Pirate ship Rum Wench, heavily laden with booty and Rum,
sails low in the waters, looking for levity and fun.
But when the tide is extra low, making mooring a bloody chore,
Captain Heidi gives the command, “walk the plank me hearties or swim ashore”.
Fabulous 😄🏴☠️
