National Security: How to Join The National Defence Academy । 12th May 2024

The unique achievement of the NDA is perhaps fostering of jointmanship - the Brahma Astra of tomorrow’s warfare. The NDA, therefore, is a very unique model which focuses on developing lasting bonds of friendship and camaraderie to ultimately spur that elusive inter-Services cooperation that is so very essential for synchronisation of all components of military power in order to address a common military objective. Therefore, the entire training is characterised by trust and confidence in each other’s Service, mutual respect for each other’s capability and healthy cooperation. The cradle of leadership is also the nursery of jointmanship, such that transgresses all bureaucratic and turf-related hurdles during the later part of each other’s careers and facilitates synergy between the Olive Greens, Prussian Blues and Sky Blues - turning them all Maroon when it really matters.
