    I have badly chipped 2 front teeth. Upper. I have had them fixed with a resin filling 3 times at which my dentist said if they break again I will need veneers. My question is if its typical to put only 2 veneers on instead of like 6 or 8 which seems to be the norm for most. Also, the Bioclear Uveneer looks like a more intense resin filling that will just end up breaking like my fillings did. How tough are these type veneers on front top teeth since those are used so much when biting down? Thanks

      You can put 2 veneers on if you have the expertise and talent to match the rest. This saves money and tooth structure. Bioclear Uveneers are 95% as strong as porcelain veneers because they are warm injected onto the tooth as one piece. They are not weak like bonding. Let us know if we can help in any other way. 858 455-9151, infor@eshomdds.com

    Hi, thanks for the video. I am wondering: is the uveneer matrix re-usable or is it single use? Thanks!

    Hi, have you heard about oxygen inhibition layer? adding flowable composite in the end to fill gaps won't bond to the filling at the time of curing, because it wasn't exposed to oxygen, it was covered by the uveneer template and the matrice from the sides.

    • @deshom
      @deshom  Před 3 lety +2

      There is no oxygen inhibited layer because it is cured while covered by Bioclear matrix of Uveneer template.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge and techniques.
    I have a question
    Please
    How much Uveneer dose match for all shape of teeth and arch?
    Is it cost benefit VS shape teeth without uveneer?

      Depends on the teeth. If you send pictures of your teeth, I could comment more. our email is info@eshomdds.com

    I'm wondering...if what you are doing is instead of crowns? I would much rather have additive dentistry than damaging my tooth down to a spike in order to glue on a crown. Where are you located and will this work well for receding gums from gum disease that has been cured?

    • @deshom

      Thanks, Katerine. This does often avoid crowns and conventional procelain veneers so we would love to discuss or meet to explain the benefits. We are located in San Diego. Website: eshomdds.com
      Hope to hear from you soon.,

      @@deshom maybe....I mean its certainly interesting and would avoid me having my teeth ground down. I can travel to your location and if they will work for 7 years that ok. I am having deep cleaning done end of this week and will try to resolve my gum recession prior to moving forward, also approximately how much would you charge to do the work on my two front teeth and another couple of teeth that have large divots in them near the gum line? Are you accepting photographs to allow you to briefly look at this case?

    Seems like a lot of wasted material.

    • @deshom
      @deshom  Před 4 lety +4

      As a dentist, I thought the same thing, but once I understood the pressure needed for the fluid composite to seal without voids, the extra material is essential. That makes this method strong, stain resistant and beautiful.

    I work as an efda in new mexico, this process is very messy and time consuming. Stick to wedges, Unica-bands's, or clear matrices.

  • @ravirockon

      Unica matrices can be used when there are no spaces and no black triangles. I use Unicas.

      Thanks for your comment. Using so much composite puts pressure in the system so hydraulic flow insures movement of composite and therefore no maringal voids. More composite cheaper that revision.

      You can have your opinion but you can’t argue with not grinding teeth.
