Unused Ultimate Voicelines - Overwatch

- Hi everyone! So this is a preview of how some of the unused or removed voicelines found among the sound files of the game, edited over some clips to see how they would look like with the current ultimates, Hope you like it!
Some things I want to clarify:
-These are voicelines that appear as unused ultimate voicelines in the game files, that were removed and replaced with new voicelines or that are not being used in the game at the time I recorded this video.
-Some of these voicelines don't have the echo effect even though they are ultimate voicelines because it was decided they weren't good enough, so they were not edited (e.g. Pharah's voicelines and some of Mercy's).
-The voicelines from the beta version of the game have not been selected (e.g. Mercy's first voice actress, Pharah's first ultimate voiceline...).
-Some of these voicelines are actually in the game as cosmetic voicelines (e.g. Sombra's "Volvamos a la Medianoche!" or Zenyatta's "Peace and blessings be upon you all.").
-I forgot to add Mercy's "I will watch over you!" and "Gemeinsam kämpfen wir!" and Zenyatta's "Experience Oblivion", which were replaced, my bad!
-Mercy's "Valkyrie-kampfprozeduren aktiviert!" and Reaper's "Feel my vengeance!" voicelines are not in this video because I couldn't find them without background noises. If you want to listen to them you can go here:

The one thing I like about the Demon Hunter skin is that it has the same ult line regardless which side you're on, it's pretty cool

High Moon and Tactical Sunglasses will be added eventually
I hope so, the Sunglasses one is so cool, but the High Moon one apparently was very cringy for the voice actor, so they decided not to put it. I really like it though.

I just googled it, it wasn't the voice actor who didn't like it, but the person who wrote the voiceline, he said it was the worst line he had ever written. He said that in a panel at Blizzcon.

The moon is indeed at an elevated position in which it is in the higher atmosphere, but it is then that the moon is many beyond the high atmosphere in which is the highest place on Earth or is it not? The moon is but a piece of space debris that circles around our Earth that happens to give us tidal waves, in which it is also in an elevated position, but we have already talked about that, haven’t we?

I know this is satire but the reason it's high noon is because back in the day they used to use the clock hitting 12 and the bell ringing during duels to ensure that both duelists knew when to turn around and draw.

Too many ult lines would make it confusing on whose using it. In comp I can tell most of the time if the enemy or my team uses an ult by the voice line

I really like Mei's Mandarin ult voiceline. It fits her upbeat attitude and is definitely more noticeable than her current one that sounds a bit monotone and quiet.

aslong as they do them on exactly right sounds and stuff I wouldnt mind..I mean the okami one from hanzo used to be significent lower volume and noticable then the normal one so it became way easier missing him ulting and ended up that everyone was forced using the skin

They've changed voicelines around before (like going from "I will watch over you!" back to "Heroes Never Die!" for Mercy unfortunately imo) so I hope at some point Sombra gets that English call out. "Turning out the lights." sounds so much cooler than "EMP Activated."

I don't really dislike it. I think it would fit pretty well as a specific voiceline of the Combat Medic skin, and also amplify her biotic stream is pretty much the only thing valkyrie does now :p
this was meant to be the Valkyrie voiceline before they replaced it with "I will watch over you"

I loved the skin specific voicelines it added a lot more value(at least in my opinion) to that skin, it made it more than cosmetic and it was so cool having them say something different
The genji voice line got transferred into one of blizzards games hero’s of the storm which in one of his ultimate abiltys he uses that voice line

The Volvamos one at 0:47 is the Voiceline for the Demon Hunter skin but it was released after the video was uploaded. Cool to see some of the sounds actually used!

I'm glad they settled on the ones they have now. Most of these lack the edge I like to hear when an ultimate is used.
Turning off the lights is pretty similar to Maeve in Paladins so maybe that’s the reason

The valvamos a la media noche is a regular voice line, and the turning out the lights is the English version of her ult voice line for the demon hunter skin

Some of these are super cringey that I laughed but I LOVED all of sombras, especially the English translation to what she normally says. (At least I think “turning off the lights” is the English translation?) it sounds SO cool. I was laughing my ass off at soldier and pharah though. Pharahs esp sounds so cool normally and these just sounded so lame lol. Edit: I also liked genjis although idk what he was saying lol. And omg all of mercy’s are kinda dumb they’re hilarious too. AND HAHAHA ZENS OMG it’s so dumb I’d actually have loved if they kept that one.
