- Updated (and quick done, almost a rehearsal) version -so sorry but it's the only way to upload something as I barely have time enough for doing this CZcams stuff-. It was recorded at the first take, then some mistakes can be heard. Also the light was dim, as the one that uses to be on stage .
BTW, I only have two arms. There are missing sounds, but I wanted to do this with the less pre recorded sounds possible
Backtrack recorded in Pro tools.
Gear: Upper: EMU EMAX II HD
Mid: Roland JP8000
Low: Kurzweil PC1x
Drum Pads triggering the EMAX thanks to a drum pad to Midi converter box
Composed by Martin L. Gore - Hudba
Like if you started singing on 1:45
...like Dave Gahan!
You had something to hide
Dude got synth skills and makes you appreciate DM on a different level.
the only person I ever seen play this song by his self with 3 synthesizers wow.
And one drum)))
So freaking amazing! DM has been my favorite band since I was 14! 30 years!
Thank you Kristin
1985 for me!
Best Cover Version. Policy of truth must have the true and clear Sound Like that. With many Elements of DM Songs.

Alan all over this.
Never been the same since he left.
Wow! It blew my mind away!
I've been watching all your depeche mode covers, fucking awesome dude. I'm going to be just starting out on synths and doing some research on some keyboards and sequencers. Ultimately I want to do some industrial shit with synthpop influences like NIN early stuff.
You nailed the sounds buddy Grrrrreat job
Bravo!! Bravisimo!!!
Wow! very good performance

DX5 no need for you to apologise for this version and any mistakes you may have made. If I could play half as well I would be more than happy.
Good Job!
Some little playing mistakes, but all around it sounds very good?
Are some of the Sounds you play on the Emax Samples or Presets from the Emax? If yes from which Soundbank?
Sick

Totally cool.
very good my freind
Never again is what I swore the time before 👍
Awesome
Full respect for your passion
I greet the Polish
woww 3 synts at same time...
Excellent performance...I love all your videos. Could you tell me the name of the sound/patch that you play starting a 1:11 (on the EMU Emax II) I've always wondered if it was a bass, organ, synth lead or something else. Also, is it a stock patch or something that you had to create from scratch? I think that same "sound" is heard throughout Halo. Again thanks for posting this video...it made my day.
Top!
Great
me encanta jose!!
It rocks... 😘
cool!!!!
Its cool!!!
Waouh 🤩🙏
The sounds are excellent. Very close to the original.
Hey man, I'd love to add vocals to this ... can I get your permission to do that then upload to CZcams? thanks !
Radical Cosmology same hereeeeee
Totally cool. How long does it take you to prepare for one of those? (finding/programming the sounds, learning the parts, etc.)?
Nice
You nailed it again DX5! Out of curiosity, where are you located?
Thanks. I am in Spain.
I've asked myself the same question over and over again. I'd rather say it's basically an organ, but there could be more behind it... And yes it is the same sound as during the Halo chorus ;-)
Did you buy anything from the Alan Wilder/Depeche Mode auction? Great stuff, always enjoy watching/listening. Thanks for sharing.
хорошая работа !!!
hey congrats............by the way....do you have a rythm machine too? or it`s a PC -Mac secuenced ruthm base? if yes what machine do you use?.....thanks and congrats again
Hello: Thanks. The rythm part was previously sequenced on Pro Tools.
Best... DX5
This might solve the mystery though:
Straight from Alan Wilder's Q+A:
Quote:
How did you create the intro melody sound of 'Policy Of Truth':
It's a single note sampled from a guitar and then looped and played from a keyboard. The loop is what gives it the vibrato effect.
Actually martin and alan first play the basic melody on guitar and then looped it on keyboards like intro of never let me down again /you can play the melody of policy of truth by guitar and it sounds so nice
This song reminds me of Gran Turismo 2 (GT2).
♡
Me encantan tus covers, donde conseguiste las partituras?
Bravo,,,really seems to Alan wilders sound!
