In kaliyuga also one can open these chakras by method of chanting the names of God. It gives the same result of performing big big austerity and meditation in different yugas. Even whose last chakra gets opened, he considers all siddis as secondary and devotion as primary. So don't focus on side-effects of yoga, concentrate on names of God and achieve the greatest benefit of human life.
